Indeed. I voted for an original design on the basis that it's original. Magnolia and Whistling Straits are two of the best courses in the game though, that's for sure.

Magnolia is a wonderful recreation. But I think original designs have to get more credit... the entire thing is coming from the imagination of the designer. To that end, Royal Ballylough got my vote. Maybe next year re-creations and originals could have different categories, as I really think they need to be judged differently. And perhaps have a course of the year for each tour? and the winning courses be selected as the nominees for overall course of the year? |

So... Any chance we can not announce the results  ... I'm loving my course being nominated, some incredible courses on there and not on there. Very honoured. Pretty certain mine won't win so just keeping this vote open for a few more months would be lovely thanks  |
