Using the power of maths, that's still almost 10 British pounds, too rich for me. Do you take nectar points?

Course number 3 was simply STUNNING Was beaten by my friend @ab1980 on the last hole after clawing back a 4 shot deficit. His birdie to my par was just enough

Hey andybarrell . I just noticed your screenshot is week 1 in season 3. There is a new thread for season 3... I have not played week 1 yet, but have played all three of those courses in the past. I like them all!!

Last reminder to all PS4 players in case it got lost in the thread: If you completed Week 51 anytime between Saturday and when it expires in a few hours please PM me your gamertag and score for the week and I'll add you in to the leaderboard. Hoping to post 3 weeks worth of results tomorrow if I get the time. Thanks

Right, deep breath, here is your results triple header for weeks 49-51 of the RRCC! As always, if you're mentioned but not tagged it's because I can't find your forum name. Apologies for the delay, real life sometimes gets in the way of collating golf scores, but this will put us right up to date with one week of Season 2 still running. For Season 3 we have a shiny new spreadsheet with an updated players list. The demotions and promotions will not be reflected in the Season 2 sheet, mainly because you were all still in your previous tours when you played these anyway. Which means mde8965 can carry on sandbagging for now…. Week 49, played back when the sun was still shining and I had hope the Miami Dolphins might have a good season, featured: The beautiful Osprey Cove Golf Club (Delta) by Cody Chajkowski Ochre Lakes C.C. (Harvest) by Seth Campion Tarantula Pines (Swiss) by Noah Goldman Results (63 players): 1. edi_vedder Thomas Oberholzer (Austria, PS4) -41 2. Guest player Cooj2011 (PS4) -39 3. canthitstraight Jimmy Kuo (USA, PC) -38 Web Player of the Week:16. Charlie Mattax (USA, charlie.mattax on PC) -29CC Player of the Week:10. mde8965 Michael Earl (USA, PS4) -32CC Player of the Week who's not about to become a PGA player:16. randy Randy Hartwick (Can, PC) -29Well I suppose we had to let him win one! First win of the season for Thomas (he makes us call him 'Master' behind the scenes), very nicely done sir . Meanwhile Michael continues to show the form that looks like is going to take him all the way to the PGA Tour, if not this week then very soon I'm sure.Week 50, which as was rightly pointed out disappointingly featured neither pirates or kidnappers, was played on:Cape Brittan National (Highlands) by Wayne AdamsPirates Lair (Delta) by Terry AndersonCape Kidnappers (Tropical) by Mitch KiserResults (71 players):=1. Mark (Kram) Mark Custard (GBR, PS4) -39=1. canthitstraight Jimmy Kuo (USA, PC) -39=3. Gary Bertram (Scotland, gaz-b on PS4) -35=3. dysania Jamie Fluke (N.Ireland, PC) -35Web Player of the Week:16. baco77 Mark Fleming (USA, PC) -28CC Player of the Week:20. Griz891 Terry Anderson (USA, PC) -26The win is shared this week, Jimmy taking his 4th win of the season and Mark taking his 6th and in doing so closing in on jtcurrent for the Season 2 overall Champion. Good to see a couple of new faces on the podium with Gary Bertram and Jamie Fluke sharing 3rd place, and Terry Anderson takes the CC award playing on his own course! Still, if Griffin can do it in the PGA Tour… ..
Week 51 then featured:
Monks Head Golf Links (Links) by Nigel Fudge Black Elk Run (Boreal) by Christopher Taylor Double U Ranch (Harvest) by Nick Weisgerber
Results (75 players): 1. @brownief104 David Brown (USA, PS4) -39 2. JeffJeter Jeff McPhee (Can, XBox) -36 =3. Mark (Kram) Mark Custard (GBR, PS4) -35 =3. blackaces13 Mike Blackman (USA, PS4) -35
Web Players of the Week: =22. Charlie Mattax (USA, PC) -25 =22. baco77 Mark Fleming (USA, PC) -25
CC Player of the Week: =22. mde8965 Michael Earl (USA, PS4) -25
CC Player of the Week who isn't Michael Earl: 26. xcltaff1980 Graham Williams (GBR, XBox) -24
Flop of the Week: 62. Long-necked Freak (XBox) -9
Another first time winner, well played David Brown! Good to see Jeff put the XBox on the podium, while Mark and Mike continue their pursuit of JT with one week left to play. Charlie Mattax and Mark Fleming earn their second mentions of this triple-header, as does Michael Earl, and nice to see Graham Williams have a good week - I remember playing against his ghost when I went through Q-School back in February. Less said about my performance the better, both then and now!
So, with one week to go in the season and double points on offer, using the power of maths (borrowed from digsb so may not be wholly accurate) I make the overall Season 2 standings as follows:
1. jtcurrent JT Current - 3744 points 2. Mark (Kram) Mark Custard - 3713 3. blackaces13 Mike Blackman - 3561 4. edi_vedder Sir Thomas Oberholzer - 3440
After 51 weeks 31 points separate the top 2, it's all down to the last week! Thanks as always to everyone for playing and we hope you enjoyed the courses, which is after all the main point. I'll shut up now. Full results can be found here

Can't wait to see if JT or Mark takes it.
Congrats to all! Way to go: canthitstraight Griz891 @brownief104
Mostly though, thanks for @edi_vedder and Giraffe72 , JT, Jimmy and Dean for putting on the best community event and maybe the longest running one, on TGCTours...

"The power of maths" is a Digsb trademark and you'll be hearing from my lawyers.
disclaimer: the power of maths by Digsb maybe not 100% accurate and in no way should be used in any professional or mathematical capacity at all, ever. Other maths powers are available from many reputable and some not so reputable suppliers.

Just noticed the "cc player who isn't Michael Earl" mde8965 nice one Jamie Giraffe72. Should say "best cc player with the emptiest trophy cabinet" for next time or is that Bill Chief. Sorry guys couldn't resist. . You guys set the benchmark that I aim for every week. Many thanks to all the organisers of the best community tournament on tgc. Good luck to the top two. And good luck to everyone for season 3.

Took quiet a while to get myself the 1st victory on my "home tour" in Season 2. Very happy I finally made it. I was already assailed by doubts. And yes, you can call me "The Master" if you want. I like it. Big thanks again to my "Scoring Team". This tour would have stopped running a long, long time ago if they were not around to help me out. Long live the "Scoring Team".

So here it is, your final results service for Season 2 of the Reviewer Recommended Challenge Cup! Please note, Player Information has been updated on our Season 3 spreadsheet (coming soon to a results service near you) but not on this one so all the promotions at the end of the season are not reflected here. As week 52 was played after Season 3 started on TGCT I will reflect it in this write up though - seems a bit silly to keep giving mde8965 CC Player Of The Week when he's currently sitting 4th in this week's PGA event! Well done Michael, a spectacular rise through the ranks . Week 52 featured: Reebdog Cove (Delta) by Brian Jeffords Howden Park Golf Club (Countryside) by Graham Webster Spirit Mountain Golf Club (Swiss) by Steve Allen Results (57 players): 1. canthitstraight Jimmy Kuo (USA, PC) -44 2. Regis Fretto (France, BRAD_PUTT on PS4) -41 =3. blueorfe Bradley Garcia (Eng, PS4) -39 =3. JeffJeter Jeff McPhee (Can, XBox) -39 Web Player Of The Week: 11. sjamb0 Steffan Jambon (USA, PS4) -33
CC Player Of the Week: 21. B.Smooth13 Justin Smedley (USA, PC) -28 Jimmy's confidence proves well-founded and he takes his 5th win of the season, 3 shots clear of Regis Fretto (whose tag I can never find!). Always great to see Bradley join us and he shares third place with Jeff, a further 2 strokes back. Steffan could have won CC or Web Player of the Week depending on which way I did it - you know you're a good player when I know your forum tag without looking it up! And a nice score from Justin to take the CC award, well played to all our winners And so to the results for the last 4-week block of the season: 1. canthitstraight Jimmy Kuo (USA, PC) - 432 points 2. JeffJeter Jeff McPhee (Can, XBox) - 376 3. Mark (Kram) Mark Custard (GBR, PS4) - 354 Congratulations to Jimmy on his second 4-week win in a row, and also to Jeff for his best result of the season, really well played to both of you! Third place for Mark, who went in to this 4-week block just 86 points behind JT Current for RRCC Season 2 Champion. By week 52 he'd cut that gap to just 31 points and with double points on offer the comeback was on! Could he do it?….. JT left the door open with a 9th place finish in Week 52 scoring 112 points, meaning a 5th place finish or higher and Mark would be Champion. Alas for him, Mark finished 7th and cut the gap again, but not by enough. Which means that your RRCC Champion for Season 2 is: Mr JT Current (USA) Final standings:
1. jtcurrent JT Current (USA, PS4) - 3856 points 2. Mark (Kram) Mark Custard (GBR, PS4) - 3833 3. blackaces13 Mike Blackman (USA, PS4) - 3657 4. edi_vedder Thomas Oberhozer (Austria, PS4) - 3560
Congratulations JT, and unlucky Mark, you made a good run at it in the end. Thought I'd better give Thomas a mention somewhere too, in case he picks up his ball and takes it home
Full results can be found here
So that's it for Season 2, other seasons are already available! Thanks as always to everybody for playing. We have a hardcore now of around 50 players who play every week and at least that again of people who dip in and out, without you it wouldn't continue. It's great for the likes of us mortals to be able to load up the ghost of a JeffJeter , or a canthitstraight , or a jtcurrent , or a Mark (Kram) (etc..) and challenge ourselves against the best on some great courses. Thanks to Thomas for continuing to pick out such good courses for the Tour, and demonstrating how you can take a Boeing 747 down with a 5-wood , and especially thanks to each and every designer whose courses we have the pleasure to play each week. TGCT gives us structure, but the designers are the lifeblood of this game and hopefully tours like this give them a few extra plays for all that effort. See you in Season 3!

Awesome write-up as always Jamie ( Giraffe72). Thanks to you and Thomas and all the people who make this a great event. Season 3 should be a good one... ps...don't worry Jaime you will forget who I am now that I am in PGA. I will be licking the crumbs off the golf shoes of Jimmy, Jeff, Mark, JT and some of the others now. But it will be great fun chasing them week in and week out...
