A bit slow to start the cc-b thread this week but here it is for those that like to embarrass me with their amazing scores! A disappointing eight under for my first round, played to many shots from the deep rough. I only dropped one shot but did not give myself enough chances for birdie on a course where birdies are for the taking, good luck all.

I only dropped one shot but did not give myself enough chances for birdie on a course where birdies are for the taking, good luck all. I've had no time to play for the last few days. I had 1 practice round which finished -9. I'd take that come tournament time if I'm honest. Still waiting to see if my exemption updates. It's still saying I'm in CC-C and I still have my strike. I'm sure it will be sorted. Hope to play a few late night rounds with you guys this week!

Lots are birdie chances Chris, sub 60 rounds more than possible, which strangly makes it harder to get and keep a exemption as mistakes are ten times worse on a easy course. Good luck keeping your card though.

Well, I'm back here after having a controller issue in round 1 last week and posting a 76 with 70% of my shots being shanks. Doesn't matter though considering I hope to be out of CC after next week.
I found the course really easy, with the exception of #14 due to that landing area if you want to take a driver with a tailwind. Ball squirt left into heavy rough in r2 led to a bogey. Additionally, I had some trouble with #10's pin position on the B set-up, which I three-putted for par in r4. Other than that, some decent play and yet left a lot of shots out there. Out of all the times I eagled 2 or 3 of the par 5's in practice in a single round, I don't remember getting many during the tour. Surprised by that given that it should have been easier with the lack of wind. Same thing with #18, which I've almost always birdied in practice.
Anyways, here are my rounds.
R1: 60 (-12) R2: 57 (-15, was -9 at the turn. What a difference from my back 9 in R1) R3: 59 (-13) R4: 61 (-11) Total: 237 (-51)
Didn't start up particularly well in R1 and my R4 had a lot of burnt edges. Still better than my 76 last week, but I was hoping to get to -55 or -56. ...wow, what a weird statement that I wish I couldn't say.

Edit: nevermind me, reading through phone totally forgot your were on exemption. Your score going to end up beating the cc a lead possibly.

Nope, finished -29 last week. If I had posted even on the first round I would still be in CC-A. That's how bad my first round was, and I was even surprised to shoot -33 in 3 rounds since I basically played speed golf even faster than I normally play.

I did something unusual this week and finished my rounds early. Partly because I want to get some practice in for next week and partly because of the lack of drama during my rounds. Two dropped shots over four rounds does not give me much to write about. Sure, there were a couple of lip outs and some not so good approach shots but nothing overly exciting. Also, I played possibly some of the best golf that I have played on tour since the very beginning and that includes my disappointing first round so I can't even blame Kenny for jinxing me. I finished on 44 under which is the lowest score I have shot on tour. The course was very easy though so I am not getting ahead of myself yet, I have not all of a sudden turned into a good golfer but still it's nice to see a score like that from time to time. It should also get rid of my strike which is a added bonus. So on to next week and the battle for a web.com card. I have mixed feeling about that. I don't think I am good enough to play in the web but the competitive side of me wants promotion. I want to play some harder courses on tour but that might mean shooting poor scores. So basically, that means excitement, drama, something to write about, bring it on.

Nice shooting Dan. There was definitely a low score to be had this week if on form (which sadly I wasn't with -36). And so we head to the CC Championship, really looking forward to that one!! ⛳️✔️

Well done Daniel! Now you'll never want to spread out your play over an entire week.

I underestimated this course and got punished over my bad putting from 5-10 feet.greens were slightly harder than last week

Ii have seen the scores posted on here and thought I'd have no chance. I did however start off on fire, I was -9 through 12 and my best ever round on TGCT was looking likely. Unfortunately the putts stopped going in and then I bogeyed the 14th(I think). I only managed 2 birdies after that to finish -10. A good score for me but it could have been so much better. The swing was working well and my putting was on fire

I can tell I haven't played in a couple weeks..That coupled with our internet signal (air card) has been horrid for a couple weeks, equals ungodly lag....
Im hitting putts 30 feet past its so bad... Called Verizon and of course (nothings wrong)...Broken par every round, but this course is a simple course, I should be WAY lower than I currently am...Oh well, Ill keep plugging along and maybe my connection will get better.... I hit A to start round four about 3 minutes before I started this post, and it still hasn't taken me to the tee.. that's how bad it is connectivity wise on this air card lately...
Ill shall return..LOL

Disappointing end to the regular season. An average -10 followed by a disappointing -7, a disastrous -3(+3 after 4 holes)and another disappointing -7
Next up the end of season championship. The pressure will be on.

Best to get the bad rounds out of the way before next week Dean. Now can focus on that elusive web card. I really hope you get one, you have been unlucky when playing on exemption in cc-a so with any luck, you can skip that division completely, good luck next week.
