Hello again. Thanks for taking the time to play The Palm. Obviously I would have been happier if you'd liked it more When you say it needs polishing is there anything specific that I should be focusing on? I'd be interested to see what you think of Royston Heath GC my other submitted course as this is a course modelled on my real life local course. It's much more natural than the Palm and I'm wondering if my interpretation of a "Man Made from scratch" course is what makes the palm feel unpolished? Cheers.

sorry, I forgot to ask as well: what do you mean by "burn marks"?

"Burn marks" meant that there is a brown line around the green/fairway. This happens when you don't line the green or fairway with rough.

If you would like to play the extension of my nine hole entry it is called Shougleith Tournament Links.
EDIT WITH BETTER IDEA: Special shows where extensions of contest courses get played.

If you guys need a course to play next year then give my Remembrance Sunday GC a go. 4 versions, but Sunday is my favourite..........just don't aim at the pins because of the intended roll out.
Also have a look at the Hole name guide in the completed course thread to see how every hole got its name.

Thanks Elz, I'll be at work so will have to catch a replay. If the wind's up it could be a beast, but whenever I play it seems to be in single digits. Also plays a little easier with a tail wind off the first. Back 9 is harder, course records on PS4 are -11 on Sunday by Sweeney and Furzoo, -10 the other 3 versions which were all in lowish winds. Thanks again, enjoy and if the wind isn't against on the 10th you can drive it.

GLEN OF THE LEAPING SALMON G.C. is my latest course, just submitted to TGC Tours. Think my designing skills are gradually improving now and a new faster PC has helped. Love to see you guys give this one a go on the show, .

Thanks for playing Remembrance guys, glad you enjoyed the challenge. Just skimmed through a bit of the recording on my lunch break, nice scoring Andre. Mr Sweeney got a hole in one on the 15th when he played, probably should have raced off the green, but hit the flag and dropped in lol.

It would be cool if you guys could play my new course red rock national. I don't usually do a lot of advertising for my courses but I think this one would be great for the tour. The original version plays quite firm but fair, while the members version is a bit softer with easier pins.
Thanks for your consideration.

I would love to see you guys knocking it around on my newest course - The Emerald Course at Eggar Hill, set in the Harvest theme. There are 4 editions - Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - meant to project a different look and slightly different conditions. Thursday and Saturday are similar with medium-slow greens. Friday is rainy, soft and S-L-O-W, and Sunday has firmed up a bit (medium/medium) with more difficult pins.
The course is more difficult than it first appears - especially on Sunday. Plus, I'd love to hear what you guys think about the par-4 10th hole with the winding creek splitting the fairway - twice - and then cutting in front of the green!

Re - GLEN OF THE LEAPING SALMON G.C. After the recent visit of 2 rather brash Canadian gentlemen to our establishment the club would like to point out that it no way condones the slaughter of innocent deer while playing from the 3rd. tee. It has been brought to my attention that members of the medical profession are duty bound to preserve life, not to end it, leading some of our members to question whether the person involved is actually a real doctor at all. Following the above incident four of our staff are now receiving extensive counselling, three are expected to make a full recovery, but unfortunately little Jimmy will never be the same again, and has had to withdraw from this weekends Deerstalker Handicap Challenge. On a brighter note the Venison in the Clubhouse bar this past two nights has been of a particularly fine quality. Are well ,waste not want not I say! The Club would like to thank the gentlemen for their patronage but have to make it clear that any repeat of the regrettable action on subsequent visits would almost certainly cause a serious diplomatic incident leading to all ties between Canada and Scotland being cut for the foreseeable future. Yours Sincerely, On behalf of the committee. A note from the Stag, Due to the callous slaughter of one of my hareem, I now have no one to fornicate with on Thursday afternoons. Anyone wishing to apply for this position should contact biged@thesalmon.g.c enclosing a cv and any relevant references. Yours in anticipation, Big Ed
