Since the patch has come out for just PC's with (excellent) tweaks to the wind and the consoles are still on the old wind - we're going to disable demotion strikes for W38 on the Challenge Circuit.
For the Web.com, PGA and European tours - if you would like to withdraw (it is playoffs though) just email commish@tgctours.com and we'll accommodate.

A bit surprised that they didn't "turn on" the wind adjustments at the same time as they had done on previous patches, but maybe they did it differently this time.

Much more range in wind - I've had rounds range from 1mph to 13mph over the course of the 18 holes - but a gradual increase/decrease while still being the same for everyone. Wind will change per shot - most I've seen is 3mph from one shot to the next. Much better than the static wind you currently get. |

Unfortunately for console users patches need to be examined a lot more deeply than PC users since they can cripple entire systems and/or games. So it always takes longer on consoles. PC is basically searching for malware and viruses. |

Doyley Doyley, what if consoles get the patch this week before the tournament ends? Would you guys allow consoles to elect to replay? If that's even possible - probably not though. |

what about week 37?.. i heard guys had better conditions in round three then rest of us had when it was a gale? i might be mistaken but gettin a demotion strike when conditions were not the same for everyone sucks.
correct me if thats not the case tho

Won't happen for W37 - high % of users had already completed their rounds prior to patch.
