Hey CC-D mates! No Timberwolf thread for us so far, so I guessed I'll start one. Winds this weeks can be troublesome: R1: 4-7 mph R2: 4-7 mph R3: 21-24 mph R4: 10-12 mph I started out with -5 and -6 in the first two, doing pretty good for myself, then waited till today to finish with Rounds 3 and 4. In the heavy R3 winds I managed to score +1 thanks to some surprisingly good putting. Those medium R4 winds still give me trouble and thanks to some awful putting I got two doubles on 16 and 17 pushing me back to +4 for that day, so in total I'm at -6 now, which I hope is enough to keep me in the Top 70 this week, or it will be my second strike in my second event How about you?

Round 3 is a complete joke!
I'm not normally one to moan about conditions in this game as I know it's the same for everyone but the winds in round 3 are taking it too far!
Having to aim 70 yards to my left or watching my chip onto a green almost turn 90 degrees due to 21mph + crosswinds is not a realistic reflection of golf.
I'm all for conditions changing as that is what happens irl but the effect those wind speeds have on the ball are far too dramatic to be deemed realistic.
Don't get me wrong either as I think this game and the tgctours format is the best thing since sliced bread

I've played in 20+ winds and they don't do most of the things we see to the ball. I can deal w/ it moving laterally, carrying or getting ballooned up to the moon, but having it slide 5-10 feet on a 8 yard chip is kind of out there. I really struggled in round 3. I am up here on exemption from CC-E and may have blown it (pun intended) in the third.

Only played round one and couldn't putt for crap. Ended up +1. I thought the pin placements were tough also. Can't wait for round three, bust out the sails!. Toad, you should be good. I backed in last week at even so -6 should be ok.

Somehow managed to scramble to only +1 on round 3. Was +3 at the turn but shot -2 on the back. Not nice :-(

Was birdieing and bogeying all the way round, was -3 through 16 then bogeyed the last 2 for a disappointing finish. Overall finished -13 but can't see it getting me into the top 10

First time poster - short time creeper.
I liked this weeks course. Round 3 was a bear.
Rd 1 : 63 Rd 2 : 61 Rd 3 : 74 Rd 4 : 70
I THINK these were my scores - I might be off by a single stroke. Either way like most - I started off hot and then wanted to tear my hair out come Rd 3.
I just wish I didn't selfishly play all 4 rounds at once - I hate the wait!

I want to see Round 3 results in the leaderboard already! Expecting a wide range of results there. Shake the board!

So round 3 scores are out, what do you guys think?
My 71 (+1) put me up a little bit, best score seen so far is a 67 by Ryan Byers playing on an exemption, welcome to the CC-D I guess! Followed by a 68 by James Bartges, the rest is 70+, but some are still to submit their cards, so i guess there will be some switching around in the leaderboard to come.
The average round score in R3 so far kicked up about 9 strokes from ~69 to ~78, what an impact!

Round 3 has actually moved me up to T4th on the leaderboard lol My poor finish to the last round will ruin that for me no doubt

Looking at the updated leaderboard for round 4 and while I'm happily surprised to be T6 I can't help but think I've let another one slip through my fingers there

My bad 4th Round took me down to T23 for the moment, hope to make the top 30, so I get rid of that strike. After my first week I thought, maybe I belong more in CC-E, but now I'm confident to belong here again
