Does anyone have any ideas when we will find out if we're in the field, I normally like to start my tournament on a Saturday evening. I believe the field is the same for all 4 Web.com Finals tournaments. If your name was in week 36, then it will be there in week 37 @ Grangethorpe. Someone may correct me if I am wrong, but I am fairly certain. Thanks mate for the info the trouble was I was entered into this weeks tourney but was away on holiday so couldn't play the first two rounds in time so I thought I would get suspended for next week.

I am pretty sure you will just get $0 for the week. The Web.com playoffs are a 4 week cumulative $$$ event. There are 152 Pro cards available I think. The top 10 in Web $$$ automatically got a card, but are playing this event. There are 142 cards available after those ten. It is cumulative over four events. Just play well over the last three events and you will be fine. The staff entered you into the week 36 event, so don't worry that you joined and could not play. You made it be known in another thread that you would not be able to play. I am sure they will not suspend you for week 37. Good luck!

I dont think so. You can email commish if concerned, but should be included for all 4.

Well if I'm not included in the last few tournaments I can regroup for next season, I don't think I'm playing well enough to get a promotion spot having missed the first tournament. I will just see if I'm included and do what I can.

OMG, what might have been. I was on the fringe on 14, bad chip, missed a 5 footer for par... Still best rd ever for me. Hopefully I am ready for next week. 56 (-16)

Definitely easier than Turnberry. Shot a 58, even with a lip out eagle putt on no. 18. If the wind is about the same as this week, there will definitely be someone at -60.

I will never see 3-5 MPH winds in the tourney, so whole different ballgame anyway. -16 with a bogey is just silly. That is why we need winds. Cuz if I can do it, someone can go -22.

Am I the only one struggling with the greens here? I can't gauge anything they're so fast! Some of the pins on day 3 are in tough places and if you miss you risk rolling 15+ ft past.
Should be a very interesting tournament. I'll no doubt 3/4 putt a few greens this week!

Don't understand why you can't hold my greens.... The settings for all 4 days are: Green speed - Medium fast (dial set at ten past). Green firmness - Medium (dial set at 12 o' clock). I do agree day 3 has the toughest pin placements - your reward for making the cut Good luck.

I had a 16ft, 6" downhill putt and sent it 20ft past! And I only tapped it! Your course is highlighting that I can't putt for sh*t. It's a great test though. The course has grown on me.

Hi Rob,
Pins and wind made day three settings a lot harder. I had an experience similar to yours on, I think, No. 11 where I kept rolling it by for a bizarre 4-putt. A couple windy days could make this one interesting ...

Hi Rob, Pins and wind made day three settings a lot harder. I had an experience similar to yours on, I think, No. 11 where I kept rolling it by for a bizarre 4-putt. A couple windy days could make this one interesting ... Just finished round 1 and I was a different golfer. My putting was pretty decent for me - if I didn't make the putt I lagged it like a pro! There's hope for me yet!! I have to acknowledge that the top web boys and birds are in a completely different league to me. The pressure of making a bird every hole is too much. Had a couple of holes this round where I missed the fairway and was always chasing the ghosts. I can't take that week after week. I'm all for the idea of making the Euro a step down from the top flight.

I'm all for the idea of making the Euro a step down from the top flight. I've long been thinking this. In real life the PGA is clear number 1. Why is this? Larger prize money is the main reason. With prize money meaning little to us TGCTours folks (other than being a way to get position points on the season long leaderboard) it means it doesn't matter if the PGA offer more prize money than Euro Tour. So how about world ranking points earned? I have just worked out during the year 2014 that the average of world ranking points at stake in a regular PGA season event (doesn't include WGC, majors and alternate events) was 51. The Euro Tour was 33. Both had minimum events rating but it was the strength of field rating that brought up the PGAs events. That's a big difference in quality. The strength of field rating is a great way to give points out in real life due to the best players not playing every week. Here they do so maybe there should be a limit on each event depending on the real life prestige. The really good players will try and win on PGA like real life, the Middle of the road players could try and be a big fish in the euros or attempt to take on the big boys of the PGA. PGA Tour Players Championship 80 (same as real life) Big event 60 Average event 50 Small event 40 Euro Tour BMW Championship 64 (same as real life) Big event 40 Average event 30 Small event 20 Alternate events on PGA/Euros (these will be played during major/wgc weeks) 20 Web.com Normal 14 (same as real life) Tour Championship 20 (same as real life)

I enjoyed the course, it has a 'Sam' feel about it... Might be those next tee signs . I only have 1 practice round under my belt but looks like a course you can score well with good planning which I like. Loved the look of the 18th as well. Has that grandstand finish look to it. Nice work
