Still in CC-C, but still have fun playing this tour. Made some great putts, burned a lot of edges on easy putts. 61,66,61,65 for a -35. Such a disappointing final round. Thought I had a shot at going -40 entering round 4, but just couldn't get anything going. I've been liking these courses better than the ones we've been getting in CC, haha. That's great scoring for a CC-C player. You won't be down there for long. Well done

Guess we are all just going to have to find a way to get better. It's good motivation when you have someone dominating like this... Hang on, did I say frustration or motivation? Haha Plus we have an update due soon to smooth the swing - I can see it dropping in the middle of the finals and royally screwing things! I've played a couple of the PGA events. It's a different game. The courses are tougher. I can't hit spots I'm aiming for now - no way it's gonna happen there! But... The challenge is what keeps me coming back for more! Finals should be interesting. Could be quite a few cards up for grabs. I'd be a lot more confident if I was consistently a few shots behind you. 11 this week wasn't good enough. Damn that round 3!!! You'll be fine, clearly you're a great player! I'm the same about "the challenge" If it was easy I would have stopped playing by now. I'm actually glad I'm not winning on this tour........ Who am I kidding? No I'm not!!!! Haha I personally have had no issue with the swing, so I'd be happy for it to stay the same as it has clearly affected other people!

Finished 2nd last week in the CCA to someone on a sponsors Exemption, looking to do the same to you lads this week! I know my work is cut out for me, but should be fun trying!! First round was a success, even jumped off my couch for a big Tiger fist pump when I made a massive bender for bird on 16.

Well done, a great score to start off. Keep that up and you'll be here to stay!

Haha, the last thing I wanted was for you to be more motivated!!! Ok, if you must know I had............. -41. I'm going to guess and say you had 62, 60 to finish a couple in front of me? -41 is awesome! Found some pins and slopes to be difficult the last two rounds. I managed to beat your guess by one on round 3 - shot a 61. Played solid, nothing too crazy in the round. The nerves showed in round 4 to start - took a dumb bogey on hole 1. But I recovered to shoot.... a 60 for Sunday, spot on with your guess. Total of -44. Perhaps one step closer to that tour card! Well played, was fun playing under pressure knowing I had to perform - especially wondering if you went mid 50s in round 4. Had me on edge! If -44 holds on and wins, no reason to think it would not, you will have earned your tour card. You will finish 5th or 6th on the list. And everyone moves down one rung, myself included. I think a tour card for me is inevitable, I just wanted it to be done this week... With Tom Jones, Bryan Boomer and Andy Tracy playing well this week, it might be Clay or myself finishing 11th...

I've been playing good lately, but it's just a matter of time before it's lost! I'm crediting the stiff Baileys and coffee I had, for my success during Round 1!

I knew my 1st and 3rd round wasn't flash and when I saw your 56 to start it was never looking good for me. I look forward to many more tussles over the next few weeks and on the Pga next season I'm looking forward to more matchups on the PGA side with you as well - I am certain your name will end up ahead of mine many times. You're a formidable player after posting 6 wins in a row! See you next week in the Web.com Finals.

I look forward to many more tussles over the next few weeks and on the Pga next season My god! -44! Nate you're a beast! Take your card and do one!!!! ;-) Nate - is your putting great or are you just sticking it within 8ft every approach? Unlucky Ryan! I'm rooting for a win for you and this week it was well deserved. Thanks - I appreciate it! I think what's helped me go over the hump and put up consistent scores is a combo of putting and approaches (as it always is with golf!). When I play against ghost balls in a tournament - and I always select the top 3 finishers at the time - , I note that I'm usually closer to the hole than the other three. Not always, but relatively consistently. And then I also think I've learned the feel for putting which just takes time with this game. Hit several 8-12 foot side-hill putts with multiple feet of break. I couldn't have done that earlier on as I was learning how putts break. I like that about this game - that a skill like putting is highlighted when everyone hits 80%+ FIR and GIR.

Well if -11 makes the cut, then I may have a top 20 finish. Shot 62 and 63 for the final rounds to get to -30 for the tourney after my dismal start.
At least gets me going in the right direction for next week.

Also does anybody know how we get an invite to next weeks tourney? I tried to register and I get this message: "Sorry. You are not eligible for this tournament for the below reason: You have not been invited to this invitational only tournament." Web players PLUS the bottom % from the PGA and Euro get invites. So they will auto register people who "qualify" plus announce how many PGA/Euro cards are availale. Oh, okay thanks. I was thinking the invites had already been sent out

Bill, you nudged me by a shot. After starting with an average 63 and then a solid 64 in those conditions, I couldn't get much going on the weekend and finished with 67 and 65 for -29. Another finish in the 20-30 range I feel like. Hoping I can play a little better the next four weeks!

This tournament was the epitome of why I'm a CC-A player and I'll be one for awhile. I went 66-72-61-72 to go -17 for the tournament. I couldn't miss a putt in round 3 and 10 minutes later in round 4 I couldn't buy a putt.
By the way hammo owes me a beer for witnessing the HIO and eagle in that last round. Great round!
