Been practicing Turnberry for next week - anyone else experiencing PS4 intermittent swing issues? I can't tell whether it's controller lag or my swing but it's frustrating as hell. I noticed it massively on the Saturday setup. There can't be controller lag as I play with the controller wired, unless I'm missing something. Wondered if anyone else was experiencing it. Not just happened this week.
Only thing that tends to happen is if the pin is at the front of the green I land short and sometimes roll on. Complete disaster going into the finals, if this continues!

I see J.D. coming on strong...T-1 after his first two rounds and playing well. He's looking confident going into the weekend! He kept that quiet!! Can't see him falling now. This could be very close!! No threat from me this week guys lol. I started strong but fell off quickly on the weekend. Between work during the day, and working on my truck every evening this week, I only had a small window this afternoon to play all my rounds. I took a peak at this thread, and knew I was gonna have to play lights out to have a chance at beating Ryan or Nate. I believe I finished up at -37. Not too bad, considering I came into this tourney blind, never playing a practice round. I'm hitting the ball really well... just can't seem to knock the rust off my putter haha.

I think the trade off of having a rusty virtual putter is worth it when the payoff is having a working and/or more awesome truck.

Is top of the table after round 3 on his PGA event which is fair bl**dy play as the course is really tough! Most of the fairways are no wider than the average UK car! Well done Bob!

Bob apparently had a meltdown in the final round and shot E or +1. I played that tournament 'for fun' and ended up about -13. The winds were high every round so to get on fairways was tough with the 1st hole being the hardest I thought. Great course though I'd recommend you all give it a try.

I drove it straight into the water 1st hole due to that L-R wind. Think I ended up +3. The course felt a bit laggy on PS4 but there were a shed load of trees.

hmmm....looks like I'm here to stay on the Web.com tour. Not sure how I feel about this.
I don't even want to talk about the 3rd and 4th round. I can honestly count 9 easy putts that I missed. (2 were from inside 2 feet), normally I'd offset that with putts I shouldn't have made, but I really only had 1 of those. I was pretty dialed in distance wise with the irons. So many shots left out there.
Here's a question, how do I sign up for next weeks event? Says I don't have a valid tour card yet. Do I just sign up in the CCA event and it will carry it over to the Web tour when I promote?

That's what I did - I assume the invite / registration will take place on Sunday once this tournament is finalized.

They will automatically enter you into the field if you meet the requirements. The work on this is done on Sundays, so I would think by Sunday evening (in the U.S. that is) you could check the week 36 Web Event to see if your name is in the field. I don't remember the specifics, but off of the top of my head it will be all active Web.com players and all active PGA players that did not reach the 2nd round of the FedEx Playoffs (those outside the top 100 in FedEx points). The number of available tour cards will likely also be determined on Sunday.Someone may certainly correct me on this if I am wrong.

I did indeed have a meltdown of sorts. I played hole #1 Birdie, Birdie, Birdie, Dbl Bogey for the week. 86% shots when you want 100% suck on approaches when water is there.

Yeah I had similar problems on the Round 4 1st hole.. Treble Bogey after not aiming far enough right. Out of the crap into the water and hacked it in for a 7. Finished that last round E with birdies, eagles and bogies all over the place. The fact you're competing to WIN the PGA event is pretty good going so don't get too down on yourself. Your time will come... Hopefully before the bandits currently on the Web tour make it up there

I am in the position I am in, but I consider 6-10 Web players at my level or even better. It will be tough going once the inactives are taken out and the Web.com Finals players are introduced for season two.
