65, 60, 68, 62 (-33). I expect a few people below -40 honestly and felt I could have done it if I could make my putts in the 9-12 feet range. Maybe I should use ghost balls and get free reads, haha.
I'm a good ghost ball on PC if you want to see slightly off putting lines from within 10 feet (again). My third round came hilariously crashing down with 3 bogeys in 4 holes (including hitting the water on #15, sub-100% shots and all), then birdied out. It was a good old 4 bogeys, 6 pars, and 8 birdies for that round. What could have been...
Had a few three putts which I am not happy about, but who would be? A couple of holes I thought I had a good approach coming in from 130 yards, ball above my feet, wind slightly right, and aimed completely left with a draw and yet would still end up 16 yards right of the flag and off the green. That's a little bit extreme, but I guess everyone has to deal with it.

I did see Gdog's score so I guess I could have manually added his ghost. Hitting water on #15 happened to be on the high wind round 3. I took out my driver and aimed left like I usually do to skip a large gap of water. Hooked it right and hit the ledge and bounced into the water. Drop suggestions were on the deep rough right before the water so I had to re-hit. I guess I should feel fortunate that I made it out of there with just a bogey. As for your last paragraph, I had quite a few of those experiences in the 16-17 mph round 3, but not in the 14 mph round 1. Seems to be some sort of exponential increase in the effect of wind on left / right movement once you get above a certain number. Very few times did I end up with an approach that that got me within 10 feet of the pin in round 3. I ended up with 4 birdies and 3 bogeys. Three out of the four birdies came in the last 4 holes so I actually felt super fortunate to end with a -1.

I think it'll be close. You'll need at least one winner of CC-A and CC-B to not be at -40. My guess is that one person will hit it. It's not inconceivable that someone hits 62, 58, 66, 62 on this one.

Wasn't it great to have a manageable course for a change, and the very low wind in round 2 was wonderful, I managed a 60, which just recently was unthinkable! I am not getting too excited though as I think there will be a lot of low scores. My 68-60-68-65 might get me into the top 70. That hasn't happened for a while. I even putted quite nicely which is usually my Achilles Heel.

Technically I'm a CC-C, but you guys voted me off the island because I smell or my boobs are too small or something. Soon as last week is finalized I'm playing on a reverse exemption in CC-D. I'll post here till I'm officially in D.
Finally had a somewhat decent round, finished a tournament under par
R1- -2 --70 R2- .8 --64 R3- -E --72 (high wind round, can't believe I pulled off par) R4- .2 --70 (should have been better but 3 bogeys and not enough birdies. I think going from 17mph wind to 10 mph wind was hard for me adapt to, caused me to be too careful.)
-12 total
No real dramas for me except round 3, 15th hole, 17 wind going right to left, aimed like I had been all along but seems the wind disappeared, double bounce off the cartpath to the right, landed in those bushes behind a bunch of shrubbery, got out and made my par. John says "well i'm happy to move on, first time I agreed with him on that.
Nice to have (for me anyway) a good tournament, been a real long time since I left pleased with my performance. Won't be enough for even a top 70 but at least I'm not bottom feeding the leader board like the Le Golf has me currently. Thats a the designer of Mistwood, even in the high winds the course is playable.

Three out of the four birdies came in the last 4 holes so I actually felt super fortunate to end with a -1. I generally don't use ghost balls since I find them distracting, especially while putting. Also, looks like we did the same thing for #15, except I hit a 94% shot and therefore didn't even bounce off the rough. I guess that's a bit fortunate because I got a nice drop in the fairway, but still couldn't sink my 8' for par (I swear that putt should have broken at least an inch to the left!). My biggest laugh in round 3 was the long downhill par 3 (#7?). Figured a strong 3i would land me just to the front of the green and roll to the pin, but nope, didn't even come close to reaching the green. Should have really delofted that club more. As for the last paragraph, that scenario happened in round 2. There was no rhyme or reason to that result and it cost me a good look at birdie.

I'm hoping round 3 winds will stop guys going low in all 4 rounds in flights above. crossing my fingers for -40 or less for winners but we shall see

Exact same game and score as Tim, except I played +2 on both of my last rounds. That may not be good enough for us to make the cut on this course that many people are scoring high on.

First round 68 with a 2 bogeys in the last two holes. In second round with low winds I was only at - 2 at 12th hole. But 6 birdies on the last 7 holes completed a round of 64. My target will be staying in top 30 to delete my warning to cc-d tour.

Well, I had a very short lived experience in CC-B but I'm not sure Le Golf National was the best week to 'enjoy' an exemption! So now it is back to good old CC-C to try my luck again this week!

What were the winds you guys experienced?

After a poor effort last week on exemption in CC-B I've suffered another week where the putter has let me down. I left at least 10 shots out there. Only myself to blame.
Great course though, enjoyed it. More than likely I'll be sticking around here in CC-C next week.
Good luck to everyone, I'm sure there will be some cracking scores this week.

Wow! Just completed round 1 and really struggled because of the wind. I was getting 14-16mph and that kept leaving me way too far from the hole for decent birdie efforts.
In fact, at one stage I was +4 and thinking that this may be my first strike. Recovered to card a 70 but that may still be too much to make up on subsequent outings. I don't know how some of the guys here shot low to mid 60's because, with that wind, it is some going. Well done to you.
