I don't know what to think after this tournament...I did OK in the high wind rounds..but I am kind of disappointed with my 2 rounds in the lower winds
Round 1: 14-15 mph Round 2: 3-4 mph Round 3: 16-17 mph Round 4: 8-9 mph
74-67-74-71
-2 total
My 1st under par tournament total ever posted....but I don't know if it will be enough to remove my strike from Le Golf's abysmal performance.

Well I just played out of my skin on this, scores went the same curve as the wind, but all stellar, I relly concentrated on a good swing, and it came together. Hit the Pin on 9, robbed of a Hole in one ha. 65-57-69-63 for -34 Something clicked, and I like playing in the wind.

Well that one was fun. I enjoyed putting and these greens since you didn't feel like they were glass. 72-66-74-69 for -7 for my first sub par tournament.

-34..in CC-E?
Not a fan of the next course at all...too much fantasy...don't know whether to play it or just bypass a week.

Im as shocked as most people, I knew I could hit under par, but something just clicked for those few hours I spread the rounds over. I have been pretty ordinary since joining, this is only my 2nd under par tournament after last weeks -1. I am playing the PGA and Euro tour events, and I am over par on both after 2 rounds, it may have just been the course that I got to grips with, and the wind, I played very good in those winds, I hit a lot of fairways, and kept bogey away till 15 or 16 on the last round. Im sure I will be terrible again next week

The next course just doesn't appeal to me at all..and it really isn't even an overly tough course. I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to designs and being playable. I just don't get these courses with 57 elevation changes. Give me a nice links or a nice target course without all the gimmicky crap and I'm in.

Finally! I managed my first round below par on the TGC Tour! Shot a 69 for -3 in Round 1. Taking a break until tomorrow for Round 2. Some tricky fairways to handle in the high winds but I managed it, for once.

2 rounds in first ever hole in one at the 17th on the 2nd round, 68 followed by a 65, well chuffed!!Never finished under par before either.
Have however just seen the wind on round 3, this will be a challenge.

Isla Reseca is a nice course I think, just played it in 6-10mph, it will be a challenge to hit those fairways if the wind gets up(it will I am sure). I shot -1 here. As for the hills, do you live in Holland? I just played Finca Cortesin in real life, the best holes were the ones with elevation. My home course I grew up on, best hole is a Par 3 down a big hill over Gorse and heather, better make the carry, could be there all day if you keep short. Thinking about that course, at least half the holes have big elevation shots. Its a nice course, great to play, can make a score if you hit it well. There is this no blind shots, no elevation thing floating round, that in most cases, unless the course is on flat land, is mainly fiction. I play a lot of real life golf at different courses, being blessed of having a ton of courses along the coast here. I cant begin to think about walking these courses, maybe 25% of them in cool weather I would walk. The rest if you are not driving will take you 8 hours to walk the hills!!!

I don't mind the subtle elevation changes, those are recognized as building to the terrain. It's the constant drops and elevations that put too much fantasy into a course. I love the target courses, just not all the gimmicky crap. Isla is a nice course...just not a fan of that style. The designer did a great job, just too many frills, bells and whistles for me.

-5 for the tourney. Should be happy but playing the par 5's overpar all tournament is gonna keep me a bottom feeder.
