-19 after 2 rounds... Seeing a lot of really low scores on ps4. Might wait and see where I'm sitting after 2 rounds come up on the leaderboard. I don't feel in control at this course for some weird reason but its easy enough to string the birdies together. Hopefully I can get to -40! What was the name of your new course I'll give it a blast tonight. Burberry Black. Hope you enjoy!

finished up tourney. This had to be one of the more frustrating rounds of putting I have had, so many putts that looked like a ball or two outside the cup where actually straight and those I thought where straight actually broke. By the last round I was just aim straight and power putting the ball into the hole, worked for the most part except for a couple the popped over the hole. Over all finished -25.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Missing supposedly flat putts that end up breaking 2 inches has to be one of the most frustrating things about this game.
Looking forward to hopefully some harder courses in the future... Knowing you have to go -40 is not that fun in my opinion.

I agree.. I'd rather scratch and claw my way to -12 or -15 for a 4 round total then having to shoot that in one! It's stressful when pars are like bogeys.

Yeah, at the CC level it amazes me that there are people out there shooting scores like that. Web and PGA I can see but for me -10 is a darn good round. For those guys it is a let down! I think the new promotion should be if you shoot 2 scores under 60 in a tourney you get automatically bumped the the higher tier. i.e. Web.

Hi I hope someone can help cause I am still slightly confused. Can anyone explain to me how I can see the setup for a tournament? When I go here in forum I find no description, and when I look at the course description on the tournament website, the settings there do not seem to describe the actually setup. It seems setup is changing on each round, so where do I find this information? And are we on all tournaments now playing 4 different setups for the 4 days? Also, I would like to shoot a practice round or two, so how do I know which mistwood course to pick? Are we playing standard version, or topur-a version or are we playing all the setups for Mistwood? Can I find this information somewhere? Last week I did a practice round on the standard course, but none of the 4 rounds were anything like the standard course, so guess I should have played Thursday to Sunday versions if I wanted to practice before starting the tournament. Thanks and I shall learn it all at some point

There are two identical names up right now, but choose the one that actually has plays in it (I think Doyley put this one up). The tour automatically gives you Mistwood A for rounds 1 & 2 and Mistwood B for rounds 3 & 4. Winds are completely random from round to round.

Thank you canthitstraight, I get how to find the tournament - now I also get that wind is random so we don't know until we play. How about if the pins (or tees) are different where it requires 4 versions of the course - can I find that information somewhere? I seem to recall for one tournament in early summer I found the description for each round here in forums but maybe I am mistaken. Hi I hope someone can help cause I am still slightly confused. Round 3 could have been a -8 for me but lipped out two 6 footers for birdie on the back nine. I really liked this course. Next weeks will be fun. Isle is tough with not a straight putt to be had anywhere LOL

Thank you canthitstraight, I get how to find the tournament - now I also get that wind is random so we don't know until we play. ...Winds are completely random from round to round. Actually, the winds are NOT random (as in the case that the winds are different for each player, depending on when you play your rounds) and haven't been for a couple of weeks. The wind speed and direction for each round is set in advance of the tournament and should be the same for every player, making it an level playing field for all. If you want to know the wind speed for each round before you tee off, just ask someone who has already played (or read the forums, if it's already been mentioned).

Nicely played BigTallChris! I followed your ghost the first 2 rounds. Some REALLY low scores given the conditions! Started strongly with 5 straight birdies but then everything fizzled out and finished -4. 2nd round was better - birdie fest with low winds. Finished -12. Watched the ghosts tee off straight into the water 3rd round!! Fluffed an 88% shot off tee into heavy rough and bogeyed the hole. Think I packed it in at 9 after a 95% shot left me short of green! You put together a couple of solid, good rounds! Well done Thanks cool79breeze! For the first two rounds, I was nailing my approach shots, leaving myself very easy birdie putts. I finished up the first round by getting nine straight birdies - every hole on the back nine. Probably the most birdies in a row ever for me. That play continued through the 2nd round. The "medium" speed greens are the easiest for me to judge the break, and most of the pin placements were either on no slope or very easy slopes.....and yes, there are a couple of holes where it looks like there is no break, but actually there's a slight one, and a straight putt will be a miss. For what appear to be straight putts, I look at the break after the hole sometimes, which can help to judge if it actually is a straight putt. R1 = 61 (-11) R2 = 61 (-11) I'll probably be the tourney leader after round two (at the time I played, I was in the lead on PS4 after two rounds), but..... Then round 3 is where it all fell apart! As you said, my first hole "tee off [went] straight into the water 3rd round!!" I overthought the shot.....had it lined up hard left to let the wind carry it to the right, and then for some reason, I added a bit of a slice so it would go with the direction of the fairway. Dumb mistake! That bit of a slice was just enough to make the first shot of round three go into the drink.....dropped in the rough, and battled for a double-bogey to start the round. Ended up spending the entire third round scrambling, ended up back at even par. Nothing extraordinary about my fourth round, ended it at -8. I know that's a good round score, but it felt a little disappointing after shooting so well in the first two rounds and knowing everyone else would be getting extremely low scores also. R3 = 72 (E) R4 = 64 (-8) Total = 258 (-30)At the time I finished the tourney on PS4 (late Saturday night/early Sunday morning), I was in third place. There's probably a couple of others that have finished ahead of me since then. My guess is that my 3rd and 4th round "very good but not great" scores cost me the tourney championship, but I'm still hoping for a top-5 finish.

Hey guys, was my first tourney and I think I fared pretty well all things considered. Finished up at -28 and left a lot of strokes out there. A lot of fun...other than my introduction to 17 mph winds :-|
