Had my best tournament score wise, finishing at -6, but I honestly felt as if I played my worst tournament to date. My shots were all over the place and couldn't hit anything accurately. It was rough.

Ya the first round was rough last night for me. This is my first tourney so I was pretty pumped to play. I jumped on after I played real golf after work which, in retrospect, was probably poor judgement as I may have had a couple cold ones on the course. 20 mph winds are not kind when you have a nice glow. Hope to make it up in the last three rounds haha

First ever tourney completed. Incredible from the tee, almost getting every single fairway. But after that, nothing, No way i could get a green in reasonable distance to the cup. Horrible result, but having fun, so who cares about the score?

Had my best tourney round so far, finishing at even par with a hole out from 170 yards out to save par on hole 18.
Loving this course lowdon!

Something is wrong with the game (at least for me) on this tournament. I played two rounds the other day and decided to play my third round today. After that I thought I was on round 4 but it seems like that was my first round again. I was wondering why I was still getting 19mph winds. If this course was fun I wouldn't worry but I didn't play very well at all so I'm not about to play 6 rounds and I'm not liking this course regardless of the winds. I will just take my strike and play next week I guess. Anyone else experience your rounds resetting?

Did u pick the correct tour mate? There was an error where an incorrect tour was submitted for us to play, it had a small error in its title. quote author=" Doyley" source="/post/56829/thread" timestamp="1440219028"]Please make sure you play the event titled " tgctours.com-cc-w34" - make sure it has the 'w' in w34 There is one that was published as "tgctours.com-cc-34" - no 'w' - that was done incorrectly. Please do not play this one as it will not be used to verify scores [/quote]

Quit after 15 holes. What with the wind and PS4 swing issues. Game is not that enjoyable anymore. Love TGCtours just not the game much anymore.
Played the last tourney after missing the previous two, I thought the break might do me good. I was wrong.
Cheers Stu

Sorry to hear that mate, is it still that bad on ps4? I am struggling with consistency. I thought I had it under control but not to be, I wasn't that good in the first place. Probably have another crack over the weekend, once I get over my hissy fit. That said not a fan of the course and with the control issues I am having I am not playing many rounds. And I find if you don't practice on the course you struggle.

I know what u mean with regards to practicing, I used to do it at first but realised it was pretty futile once you played a round with high winds.
Now I just go straight in and enjoy the ride

Doubt I will be able to avoid my second strike this week, I'm sitting at +2 after three, which puts me at 60th, but my last round was rough, I was +1 after 17 then tripled 18 after being way too aggressive in trying to get back to even par. Oh well, not playing the next three weeks anyway.

The wind still is tough to judge especially with elevation changes. Its kind of a redundant point but it really boils down to practice. I've been playing the amateur tour and I find that's a good place to start as it doesn't really "count" towards anything which gives you the ability to play with certain elements of your swing (ie club loft, dropping and going up clubs etc). I was shooting 90 when I got the game two weeks ago and now Im consistently shooting low 70s. Just keep at it! cya on the course
