Didn't notice the seeds. Looks like I get another 10mins of tournament time. Why did some players that didn't win a match get 90pts, others 45, and other 10?
Anyone want to build a ladder league instead so we can actually play and improve?

Anyone want to build a ladder league instead so we can actually play and improve? most tournaments use a seed structure. Depends on if they gotta bye in the qualifiers or not. Was random. Or in case of kireishoujo a bye and then a DQ. Will always take a few tournaments to settle down a bit. Nothing can be done there as can't allocate points based on how many matches were won as people who win their only match in first round have an easier chance to win than those who receive a bye as they are less likely to play a worse player for their first match Go ahead and make a ladder if you want, no skin of my nose. It won't work however as have found before. You will have some people that rush forward and play every game they can and then get frustrated with the players they can't arrange a time with and then you get the other players that start badly and can't be bothered to complete it. Tournaments mean you are actually playing for something. If you don't mean a league and you mean a proper ladder where you can play as many games as you like we'll that's fine for a non competitive competition but a waste of time if you want to compete as volume matters more than quality. You won't improve by playing a handful more games on here. You will improve by using the ranked system in game and playing a shed load. Bottom line is most of the worse players won't want to or be able to put in the time to be as good as the top players as there is such a gulf in quality. By having a tournament it gives you a chance to upset a big gun whereas in the league you are virtually guaranteed to be below all the good players if you are a poor player |

Hi all!
CROSS PLATFORM PLAY IS NOW LIVE FOR SEASON 2Rules- This will be played in the 1v1 format
- You will be paired against a random opponent in the 1st round with the winner progressing
- You will play a BEST OF 3 Match in the 1st round. This will increase as the tournament progresses
- It is advisable to take a screenshot or record match... Just in case...
- The person who is labelled first (on top) in the bracket will be the "home" player for the 1st leg and the player labelled underneath and be "home" for the 2nd leg and continue to alternate unless otherwise agreed
Game Settings The home player for each leg must set up the options as listed below
- Arena - Players Choice
- Team Size - 1v1
- Bot Difficulty - No Bots
- Region - Players Choice
How to start a match (PS4)
- First add each other onto your friends lists.
- A player creates a party in game and invites the other in
- Then "Play Online" - "Private Match"
- Create the settings and start the match
- The HOME player for each leg should be in RED
I havent played the game on PC but should imagine its exactly the same process as above.
Timings - Sign Ups Close - Monday 31st August 2015
- Bracket is Drawn - Tuesday 1st September 2015
- The next 30 days will be broken down accordingly by how many rounds are needed.
- 8-16 Players - 7-8 days per round
- 17-32 Players - 6 days per round
- 33+ Players - 5 days per round
Seeding system WILL be in placed. Very little to go on so far but will utilise the first season results. For 17-32 Players we will have 8 seeds. For 33+ Players we will have 16 seeds. Seeds will be based on entries from the rankings below
Current Rankings Season 1 is still underway so the rankings below are provisional
If you can not contact your opponent and are unable to make arrangements please post in here for a resolution. If you are going to struggle to play your match due to unforseen circumstances again please post in here and we will work around it. My decision as Tournament Organiser is final.
Any vehicle is allowed. There are no restrictions.
If interested please state which platform you will compete on and add your PSN Username or Steam Username to this thread and I will add you to the lists!
