Well it has been a while since I've posted in here, but I would like to share my latest creation with the community. I have submitted it and I hope you guys enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it. This course is a links style course that has a very wide open feel to it. The fairways are quite wide but shots need to be accurate to avoid heavy rough, bushes, pot bunkers, and trouble around the greens. The conditions are quite firm which forces players to use the green contours to get the ball close to the pin. cheers guys, any feedback is always welcome.

When I saw there was a course set in Killarney I know I had to go play it. I had to play it for one reason only, revenge! After Kerry beat Cork yet again, what better way of giving a two finger salute to the Kerry boys than going to the home of Kerry football and hacking up their golf course! I hate to say this but it is a fine course, it feels wide open which makes a nice change from a lot of the narrower courses I have played recently. I played in very high winds and there was always somewhere to aim the ball but there was also always something to avoid no matter where the ball is played. Great care has to be taken on the greens, there are a lot of red lines on the greens and a badly placed shot can bring trouble. But on the other hand, these red lines can also be used to bring the ball close to the hole. The greens are well designed this way and shows that big slopes on a green are not always a bad thing if placed right. Me, I usually played them badly but it was fun trying. I finished 1 over which was not two bad considering the way I played and to all the Kerry people, I never replaced my divots!!

Wow, that was fun. I've never played with "red" greens that were that fair. They punished me when I deserved it, and rewarded me when I made good shots. And it is very gratifying when you plan your shot to use the contour of the green to get close and it works.
The rest of the course is scenic and well thought out.
Fantastic track. Well done!!

Thanks for the pictures Karma, you found some cool shots out there that I didn't even see while building the course. Good eye.
I'm glad to hear that you guys are enjoying the greens. There is a lot of red slopes out there, and they can be used to help a player navigate the firm and fast greens, but will absolutely cause some three putts out there. The idea was, if you hit it in the right spot, the greens help your shot into the right area and give an opportunity to make birdies. On the other side, if you miss your spots, you will have some work to make par, and likely make a boggy.

Only have gotten in the front nine so far (the fiance came home) but I think it is a real fun course. I for some reason am playing it way above my skill level in tough winds (12-13 mph average). I'm sitting -6 through 9. Can't wait to fire it back up later to see what the back nine brings!

There are definitely more birdie opportunities on the front, while the back is a bit longer, and challenges players coming down the finishing stretch.

Yep found some bogeys and played the back +2. I blame it on a mix of being up and playing waaaay to early. Did have a nice eagle on the last par 5. I don't find those too often. Great job overall. I agree that the greens were really fair considering the slopes.

Great course! Enjoyed my round. 6 bogeys, 4 birdies for a 2 over in winds that were 13 - 17 mph.

Brilliant course, instantly a favourite of mine. Wow, I was a bit surprised to see a score as low as yours on the leaderboard. Nice shootin' out there.

A really interesting course, a good balance of links and inland golf, realistic elevations and very nice greens.
Really interesting work, thanks for the effort

Fantastic course my new favorite do you have any other courses Thanks for playing, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it. I have a few other courses; Coyote Canyon was my first hit, and was used on the PGA tour for the WM open, as well as a web.com stop After a few months away from the game I started building on ps4 and it took a while to get the feel for the new brushes, and building with a controller but I published a boreal course called "The Great Northern G&CC" . After that I dabbled in the links there and put out a course on Isolation Island. search for "the open at isolation island" I also got excited about the tropical theme when it first came out an kind of rushed to throw together a course called "Kauai Resort" I feel Killarney is my best effort since Coyote Canyon, hopefully you guys feel it is tour worthy.
