Yes it's here and yes it does make a difference!! I find the direction its coming from is more important than the speed. I missed many fairways and greens by a foot or two. Huge difference when your tee ball finds the rough. You are most of the time playing to save par. This course punishes you if you do not find the short grass. That said, I think its great!!! Best thing to happen all season.

Best thing to happen all season. This makes things interesting again. I like tough courses. With this fix every course can have a degree of difficulty depending on speed. and most definitely direction, Bill. I had to play several safe shots in my first two rounds solely because of the direction of the wind and the water hazards that were in play because of it. Brilliant!!

Wes, I felt you have a chance to contend this week. You have won on the toughest course we have played to date.My first 2 rds were so so. I will have to burn it up in rounds 3 and 4 to get a good finish.
At least 15 mph in rd 3 or that was what I was faced with when I hit my tee ball for rd 3...then had to quit.

My first round was around 15 mph second round was around about 18 mph and third round was 15 mph again but from a different direction when I played my first hole, it was getting late so I had to stop there.

Lessangster, from what I've seen on PS4, there has been one really good score but the other scores were down. It seem to be a battle and you have decide when to go for it and when to be conservative. Love it!!
My first 2 rds were a little less than what you had.

These seem a little higher than what I played. I switched to PC this week after playing my first 7 weeks on PS4. From another thread and from the ghost balls I was playing the winds seemed very, very similar. Several examples of drives off the tee having 4 balls within 5 yards of each other. This is what I had on the tee box for hole number one: Rd 1: 11 mph South (tee box #1) Played whole round. I'd guess it was 9-14 mph on the extreme ends IIRC. Rd 2: 10 mph East (tee box #1) Played whole round. I'd guess it was 8-13 mph on the extreme ends IIRC. Rd 3: 15 mph North (tee box #1) Just hit my drive on #1 and then Exited out. I played the 2 rounds plus one shot from roughly 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM Central U.S. time on Sunday the 26th.

I shot the exact same score on Web-A. Nice shooting! The big reshuffle put me back to CC-A for a couple of weeks, but I'm back. Good luck to you!
