In a couple of days I'm about to play my first tournament, so right now I'm searching for the course to start practice it! The course is Thousand Islands Golf and CCThe thing is: I'm on the course page right now and I see - Thousand Islands Golf and CC - Thousand Islands Golf and CC (Tour) - Thousand Islands Golf and CC (Tour) day 1 - Thousand Islands Golf and CC (Tour) day 2 - Thousand Islands Golf and CC (Tour) day 3 - Thousand Islands Golf and CC (Tour) day 4 So what I'm asking is: do I want to practice, in this case, Thousand Islands Golf and CC (Tour) day 1, or just the regular one with no 'day X' addition? And in the upcoming weeks, do I also need to search for 'day X' edition if I wanna practice the next course scheduled on the Tour? Thanks guys for the patience - I'm new to the community and the Tour

For that particular tournament, I believe we will be using the regular version for all four rounds (Thousand Island Golf and CC).

Let me double check with the designer because I think he made some changes with the original one. It might be the (tour) one.

Because the feedback we got from the testers was that the multi-pins didn't test out as well.

Only played the Tour version twice so far, but to me it felt like it was better on the regular. Well, for my playing style that is. Which is "can't put to save his life". It's a beautiful course, and mostly fun, but I REALLY hate having so many holes on slopes or surfaces that breaks in multiple directions. My guessing game is nor very good.

I'm not so good at putting either - but in my practice round in both setups I found the standard one having pins too close to green edges, giving me sometimes unnecessary difficult approaches. I'm telling you: a good putter here could reach -10 per round easily. As far as my skills go I could manage to get a couple of -2 at best This game's literally draining my energy....I'm not able to stay consistent on my putting game

True! There is a bit more green to work with on the Tour set-up. I'm exactly the same regarding putting. It's impossible for me have any consitency at all. I shot a 66 last night. Had another go this morning and went +9. Consequently I'm always second guessing my reads and god have mercy on me if I have to chip.

Putting can be a whore, that's true! I struggled quiet a bit too in the past, but it's getting better. I still have rounds where the putter is cold as ice, but that's Golf I guess.
Apart from that, when I really started improving my game, it was mainly about improving on my approaches. To really shoot low (constantly), you have to get the ball so close to the pin from anywhere within 100y that it's (almost) a gimmie. When I realized that and tried to achieve it, my average score went down drastically. So you might wanna try getting better on your pitch/chip/flop-shots first.

Indeed, it really is. I just can't handle the hard to read ones that break at least once in each direction on its way to the hole. Especially if they are close to a steep slope so if you overhit the put it just goes careening onto the fringe. Just came off a +12 round now in winds of up to 15mph where I 4 putted once and 6 putted once. I just can't seem to get a hang of this. Too much guesswork involved in my putting currently and it feels as if I'm sort of stuck developmentally. Approach shots are decent unless there are 10+mph winds blowing (I simply cannot get the drift right other than through sheer luck) and fast greens means I have no idea how to stop my balls. Practice, practice, practice I suppose. I really wish this game had a practice area you could use.

I'm keeping my general composure only because I got the game merely 2 weeks ago and I hope I have huge margin of improvements in the next months
