Thought I'd create a thread for us CC-C guys. Hoping to start my tournament within the hour.
Good luck to all!

So I'm waiting to see if my exemption issue gets sorted so may not even be in CC-C this week but feel like I'm destined to be here for a while anyhow lol
The winds are gonna make for fun scores. Really pleased with round this week Round 1: 7-9mph winds: -4 Round 2 18mph winds: -1 Round 3: 13mph winds: -3 Round 4: 7mph winds: -3
Just make sure you do trey and be a hero in rounds 2 & 3. Play safe and club up often lol
Good luck to everyone this week!!

Completed R1 in -9(62), a bogey free round until 18 followed by a bogey free -6(65) in R2. I don't think I've ever concentrated so much as I did in R2 as those winds were seriously tough to handle. So much so that I'm in need of a break!

If you maintain that scoring I'd say your in the mix again Paul!! Good luck!!

As I said I don't think I've ever concentrated so much so I'd probably say that's my best round ever in terms of the winds and pin placement (I only practiced the R1 course so had no idea what I was letting myself in for!). Any under par score in those winds is impressive so hats off to you too! And the same to you my friend, the very best of luck for the tournament.

I just played round 1 with a 64 strokes ( -7 ). No bogeys on the round and only a birdie on par 5's. When I play two or more rounds consecutively I play every time worst, then I will play the round 2 tomorrow or Monday.

Putting this here so I don't forget!
-5 -3 -2 -8
I was really worried about the wind in the second round. But by the time I finished the 15th hole, I was -6 for the round. And then what do you know, 3 bogies to finish the round. Once you learn the nuances of club play for the wind, it's really not that bad. Pretty much every earned bogey for me was due to me two or three putting.
My +16 Hoodoo score will probably earn me a strike. If things go well, the -18 here could erase that strike!

my best practice round was -5 or -6. Looks like the winds will be crazy a few rounds. My goals going to be -17 for the tourney. Again, shooting for a top 20. Looking at the list of players, they seem to be a lot of high ranking guys in CC-C. I wish they would hurry and move on so I can change my goals to top 10s! haha

Can anyone let me know if this is right: If you shoot a -18 on CC-C this week and the scoring leaders for CC-A and CC-B are both -30, then you don't receive an exemption. But if CC-A is -30 and CC-B is -27, then you receive an exemption to play in CC-B. So the next week you play in CC-B on exemption. If you register for the next tournament and score in the top 70, then you are not on probation anymore and are considered a CC-B player and no longer a CC-C player. If you fall below the 70 line, you are back to square one in CC-C.

In your example above, you would also earn an exemption if CC-A winner shot -27 and CC-B winner shot -30. You are automatically entered into the very next event automatically on exemption (in your example, to CC-B). During that week the following applies to earn a permanent promotion to CC-B: -While using a Sponsor's Exemption on the Challenge Circuit, you finish in the top 70 of all participants in the flight and finish in the top 3 of Exemption participants OR finish in the top 70 of all participants in the flight and within 10 strokes of the top Exemption participant in the flight. And finally, yes, you go back to CC-C the next week if you fail to meet the above promotion criteria.

Is anyone else having trouble locating the tournament on the PS4? Only the Euro tour is coming up on a search.

Is anyone else having trouble locating the tournament on the PS4? Only the Euro tour is coming up on a search. Look in the Tour section. It is a multi-pin event, which cannot be done in the Tournament section.

I think this is all inferred from the site rules, but never explicitly stated as detailed as this.
