THE WORST GREENS TO FEATURE IN A WGC EVENT AWARD - My nomination 'The Champions Club @ Belmont' Not sure if this was meant as a joke, frustration vent, or a serious suggestion? If it's one of the first two, i would hope everyone realises that without the talented designers spending weeks creating these great courses we would all be playing autogens! If it was a serious suggestion I don't think there is any benefit to the community to have a "worst"-anything category. |

Best shot of the year. Players provide their videos in the instant replay forum. Narrow it down to 5 best shots and then pick a winner for Best Shot of the Year. A clutch hole out. A ridiculous double eagle. A perfectly played 7 iron that swishes the cup from 155 yards out.... Good idea. Wish I had a replay from last week at Gladstone. Made a 1 on the Par 4, 289yds. I do have it saved in my clips on XBOX. |

It was a very light hearted suggestion, canuck knows i love him and his courses but these greens are so frustrating, doesnt seem to reward good shots, iv only practiced round 1 so far but thats what i found. As for all the great designers, having tried to tackle the GNCD a few times myself and failed i realise how much time and effort these guys put into these great courses and couldnt appreciate their hard work and dedication anymore than i do, if they were all auto gen i eouldnt be here! Sorry if i upset anyone. |

Alot more slope than Belmont, same speed, but a lot more firm. Those greens where like cement. 8ball corner pocket. The only event I practiced and didnt play. That was crazy. |

They need to add albatross to the hole by hole stats on the leaderboards. They left those off. My 1 on the Par 4 showed as an ace.

Speaking of a "Shot of the Year" award, what about also including a "Craziest Shot of the Year". You know, the types of shots that hit a tree and bounces back onto the green < 10 feet from the hole. It might be an interesting award if there are enough submissions for it.

Whoever earned the most money in the year between Web, PGA, Euro, WGC events. (Maybe even add in the fed ex cup/Dubai bonus pool - although the fed ex winner may just win this then)

I pretty much guess that most people have uploaded their great shots to YouTube as well. So do I... I'd say just bad luck if you don't have video material of that shot anymore. Still one of the most exciting awards to win. |
