Hi guys, I'm new here. I have a few dumb questions. 1) At what point in the week is the ability to turn in your weekly tournament scores turned on? 2) Seems like a lot of people here talking about practice rounds. Are you allowed to play these as many times as you want? And are you required to submit the practice round scores? You can turn your scores in starting on the Monday after the events start. As for practice, you can play as many practice rounds as you like. Just make you do not actually play the tour event as that can only be played once.Just go to play a round, type in name of course and play away. You don't have to submit practice rounds. Most people practice a course before a tourment starts, in fact it's advisable. Look at upcoming events on tgctours.com to find out what courses are coming and play away. And remember there are no dumb questions, just dumb answers. If you have questions ask away, hopefully someone can give a answer. Welcome to tgctours, I hope you have fun here, good luck on your tour.

Third place on the leader board for round 1, looks so good. I know its not going to last, round 2 a bit of implosion. Round 3, decent round under par.
Round 4...ugly. I've heard so much about the OB I just wanted to see it for myself, my god just when I needed to hit a straight shot I have to slice it bad off the tee into the OB, reload and what happens? I do it again. Just cause an 8 looks really cool on the scorecard lol. Then my personal favorite, on the edge of the green with one of those huge slopes I cant get over, hit it, watch it slowly roll back to land almost right where I started, and Johnny 2 Putts (my pet name for him, 4 feet from the pin, "I think you can two put from here") gives me a "mhmmm". Not what I was saying.
2 good rounds, 2 bad rounds. I was kind of worried going into this, I had some decent practice rounds and knew I could do good, but once I get in the tourney I kind of freeze. If I can start out good then I can get rolling, if I have a bad hole I kind of go into panic mode and wind up struggling to keep from falling apart. I need to train myself to just calm down and let it flow and not get caught up in trying to make back a bad hole right away.
Tips for those who haven't played this yet, play conservative, go down clubs, lay up, play it safe and wait for the chances to come to you. You wont need a -15 to win here or do good. And with the elevation changes the wind has way more effect on the ball so keep that in mind
All rounds played Saturday
R-1 5-9 MPH wind R-2 12-15 MPH WIND R-3 5-9 MPH wind R-4 14+ Wind
Going to be fun watching the leader board and see how everyone does.

A few more questions then if you don't mind: 1) What do people usually do *after* they finish the weekly tournament? Since I couldn't wait to play the week's tournament after registering, I have gone back to practice the weekly tournament course and the DLC mode's amateur and club tournaments. 2) The way I *practiced* the round was to search for hoodoo under tours and picked the remastered one, is that right? 3) If I search for "tgctours" and pick the w29 CC course again, would that be a bad way to unofficially replay the rounds after you've played through officially the first time? Thank you for your time.

Thank you for your time. People do a lot of things when finish their tour rounds. There are other little tours for fun, like the RRCC tour. It can be found under tours just type rrcc. Me I also like to check out new courses under the completed courses section as well as practice ahead. If you really want a challenge, you can also play one of the higher up tours, just to see how you compete against the better players. I also like to play a friendly round against friends if any on. They way you practiced was fine. Next weeks event is at the Loa Pali Golf Resort and Spa. You can always look that up in play a round and get some practice in there. If you have alleady played your tour rounds, you can not play them again. Tours can only be played once. You can never play w29 cc again, you can always look up the courses in play a round anytime, but you just get one shot at tour rounds. If you play on ps4, feel free to add me dansum on friends like, always happy to play a round if I can.

hmammoth, unfortunately I'm on the pc! Doesn't look to be many people playing on the PC as when I play the hoodoo practice round, there's only like 5 players. For the w29, it says there's like 17 plays only for CC.
I'll try out Loa Pali, thanks for the tip!

Hi everyone. I was registered to play this in CC-B but got demoted to CC-C. Im searching for the tournament by typing "tgctours.com" but this tournament isnt listed: am I doing something wrong here?

When playing on pc, something use the tgctours mumble server to chat. Maybe I will catch you for a round soon.

Good night of living... I got an exemption for this week moved up to you folks CC-C tourney... I have playing this one pretty decent in practice rounds, but as always come tourney time I get nervous...HA... I sprayed it all over this course round one... Had two bogies, one of which I three putted from 10 feet (Had a durn birdy chance)
Ended up round one -5...But it was a claw my way around the course -5.... 5th place for now.. I suspect that goes the opposite way soon.. lol
Good luck... Looks like rain in the forecast and wind.. I remember those pins were in some precarious locations which will make it tougher on us...
Usually I play all four rounds in succession, but I am too nervous to start again.. Off to the designer... LOL
Noticed Roy and Garrity also right there near the top on round one... They are also on exemption I believe from the D tour.. Good luck to those fellas as well...Great shooting
