St. Andrews always gets abused. Tiger shot -19 in 2000. The modern player can overpower this course pretty easily.

People get too caught up in scores these days, I blame the USGA. It's been a cracking tournament thus far and the players on top deserve to be there through great play. Day or Spieth to win now I reckon. Gonna be exciting.

And for arguments sake St Andrews is over rated, there are much better links over here that would damage scoring.
