Any possibility of some sort of points setup in the future, for the top X number of players each week?
I'm happy with 15th. I didn't notice the comment about the mini-round end being the start point for the official timer, so I may have lost 30-45 seconds on that. More importantly I missed wayyyy too many putts.
When is the next one released?

Yes, I've thought about doing some grand prix season type system, with points from 1st down to 10th.
Next one will be released tomorrow.

4th place in my first try. Pretty good. Felt like I was racing, but a few there played minutes faster. I'm sure the few times I got into trouble and had to scout around where to hit didn't help

Week 2 of the speed golf challenge is now upon us! I waited until the wind fix was turned on before creating this tournament, just because it is a bit fairer.
This week we will be playing McKee McGrodo - Topaz (Tour) by tastegw. The fairways are firm, the greens are medium firmness, fast speed (187). You will need the DLC for this course as it is the Highlands theme, and it is a tough course if the wind is blowing! Be careful of the out of bounds beyond the cart paths, a plus score is a definite possibility.
You can find the challenge under Tours, named "speed-golf-w2".
Rules
* Your time starts when you sink the putt on the warmup hole.
* Your time ends when you sink the putt at the end of the main round.
* Each stroke you take adds 20 seconds to your time.
* The winner is the person with the lowest combined time.
We have a warmup hole because timestamps are taken at the end of each round; we then take the difference between the two rounds. This does mean you should try to race through the menu after you've completed the warmup hole, it shouldn't take more than a few seconds.
This challenge will run for 3 days, until Tuesday afternoon, so try and get your round done this weekend.
Last week we had 72 competitors, let's try and beat it this week!

I really struggled on hole #4 after a terrible chip shot. Other than that I thought I did pretty good considering I don't think I ever played that course before.

Just finished my round. First time playing this course...could have used some course knowledge to help me. Didn't play bad, but felt I played slow compared to last week's tournament. Watching my ball trickle...trickle...trickle...trickle down some of the slopes of the greens and fairways was hard to watch. Almost yelled at my screen for the ball to stop a few times.
Will have to come back and play this course again soon as it looked and played beautiful, but since I was racing around I didn't get a chance to truly enjoy it.

Yeah it's a tough and pretty looking course, worth a second play. I think all the times will be slower than last week, for sure.
