I didn't think the score on the warmup hole counted. I bogeyed that hole as I didn't really care to much as I just whacked away until I had a tap in to set me up for the real round. I'll know for future rounds. Had it taken the time to birdie it I could have won. Bugger! Ha

Well I'm sure I shot -8 for the powderfinger round but was -7 for the tourney as I bogeyed the warmup hole.

I think maybe you did what I did, and see 64 (in my case, 68) and think it was -8 but really it's a par 71 so it ended up -7 (in my case -3)?

-4 (I think? I went through the final screen too fast) in 17:30 -- pretty happy, given the conditions. -4 in 22mph winds is awesome Either way, under 18 min and under par is a serious accomplishment. |

Welcome to Week 9 of the Speed Golf.
This week we will be playing Scarpacci Island* by (you guessed it) Scarpacci. We will be transporting you to the once peaceful tropical island, now plagued by the curses of rushing golfers.
You can find the challenge under Tours, named "speed-golf-w9".

* You will need the DLC to play this course, as it is in the tropical theme.
Rules
* Your time starts when you sink the putt on the warmup hole.
* Your time ends when you sink the putt at the end of the main round.
* Each stroke you take adds 20 seconds to your time.
* The winner is the person with the lowest combined time.
* We have a warmup hole because timestamps are taken at the end of each round; we then take the difference between the two rounds. This does mean you should try to race through the menu after you've completed the warmup hole, it shouldn't take more than a few seconds.
* The challenge will run until Monday night, and results announced on Tuesday.
* Available on all platforms!
* A time correction is applied for consoles to compensate for the slower loading times: PS4 -15 seconds; XB1 -20 seconds.

The early Bird catches the worm, -5 and I should have been quicker than last week. Had a 41 foot birdie, 3 or 4 bogies and more sub 100% shots than you can shake a stick at. Worst was on the reachable par 5 last when I got a 92% tee shot leaving a decision of going for it with 3W to clear the water into the 10mph head wind or try and figure out the lay up. After 10 seconds of dillydallying I went for glory withe the 3W at 101%. Half a yard short of the top of the retaing wall grrrr. At least it gave me a drop at 150 from the pin and managed to save par.
Good luck all, altough I think PS4 players should get an extra second or two per shot taken off to allow for the extra time you have to hold at the top of the backswing to get 100% lol.
