That's really cool. But I would like to point out that if THIS community didn't exist, then I would have literally no reason to play TGC and wouldn't be telling my friends about how awesome the 2 of these work together. They have no doubt made a lot of sales from here.

I'd still be playing because it's the best golf game around. TGCT just makes it 1000 times better. And I don't have to buy a new game each year with 6 of the same courses. And most important a company that actually listens to the community.

Hole-By-Hole GIR, FIR, Putts, and Bunkers (something I requested so I could show the hole that were the hardest to reach in regulation, which fairways were the toughest, and toughest green to putt on)
YES YES YES!
Can I maybe suggest in time a page for the course as well with the holes listed (can you pull hole lenght as well?) and then the stats for the tourney in terms of average score, putts, FIR, GIR - hole ranking? For designers this would be super interesting to see how the course plays, and also as a player I would love to see where I picked up shots or which holes I played wrongly.

This is really really good. Love good hard stats. Will there be plans to have our overall season stats in our profile page (FiRs/GiRs etc?). Site keeps on getting better baby!

And this is why i'll pass on EA Golf for the first time in many many years. Hurray for HB. Speaking of EA, I just watched a video from the game. When did they implement that putt thing where it basically guides you on where to aim? Also, the spin after the shot is still stupid as ever..I'm not trying to be biased or anything but why would anyone buy that game? Thank you, HB. There has always been those features, and just like before, if you wish to not use them then turn them off and you will get more XP. |

I thought exactely the same when I saw that video. The only thing I'm missing a bit (compared to EA Golf) is definitely the emotions (player reacting to shots, commentary, crowd reacting, etc.). Apart from that, there's nothing I regret that I've cancelled my pre-order. The graphics are nice but the animations don't look all that great. But I agree, the crowd and feeling more alive is a definite plus on that game and maybe a better season mode but that's about it. All visuals with little substance it seems. Honestly the main reason I play this game is the custom courses. If EA ever implemented custom courses you would probably never see me again. You can turn up the difficulty on the EA games to be just as hard as this game. The atmosphere and real life products are much better than the customization (if you can call it that) that we have in The Golf Club. |

I miss the grandstands, but the crowd is so unbelievably dull and bland that it's not even worth having them. EA really sucks sometimes. Also the player emotions are pretty much as bad as The Golf Club player's leg kick and putter swing. I feel like the game went completely backwards. Very arcade'y.

Surely you have the option to be 'over the top' in animation or 'reserved'? If not...why not?! |

Something about the graphics turns me off, I can't really put my finger on it. And there are some good crowds, MLB The Show has in incredible crowd, and 2K's is pretty good as well. I just know my first play through was a huge disappointment. Long gone are the days of me playing TW 08 for endless hours. |
