I've got my first three rounds in and all I can say is I have lost my confidence on the greens. That coupled with a few silly mistakes mean I won't be challenging again this coming week. Chat away guys...!

Just played my first practice round at The Homestead and shot -10. I left a few shots out there, but should do better in the future, now that I know what pins to shoot for. I'm happy to say, this course played very smooth on PS4, but a few holes can bite you if you're not careful. I'd venture to say scoring will be similar to last week, around -40 should be near top 5/winning score.
I'm gonna go ahead and play this weeks CC event, but I think I earned an exemption into the Web tourney... not sure if exemption applies to this weeks event, or if it's for week 28? Either way, I really like both the Web and CC courses this week, and look forward to completing both tourneys!

Managed to shoot a personal-best tournament score since joining TGCT - very happy with it. An opening round 59 (including a chip-in birdie on 18) couldn't have gone much better. Very happy overall, and really enjoyed this course.
The only frustration I had in this tournament was at least a half-dozen shots at 94%. VERY frustrating as every single one of those should have ended up very close to the hole but instead were in bunkers, well short, or even a couple lob wedges that rolled completely off the green. Not really sure how to solve that problem since I pause every time at the top of my swing to make sure I get 100%. Ah well. Enjoyed playing this course - hopefully this is my first challenge at winning a weekly tournament since starting up a few months ago!
Good luck to all.
Nate

Make sure you do that registration, otherwise you lose your exemption. If you just received your exemption this week, check on the Web.com tournaments page and look for the next event that says "Register" - that'll be your event for that week. Good luck! Hope to be joining you on exemption soon. Nate

That's what I gathered from the info page anyway: "If you earn a Sponsor's Exemption on the Challenge Circuit, you will receive an email and be auto-registered to the next week's tournament." I haven't received an email notification yet, and I get a "you do not have a valid card to register for this tournament" message when trying to register for the Week 28 Web event (there's no option to register for Week 27). I'm sure things are still hectic for the admins after all the recent changes, so I'll wait a day or two and see if I get the registration email notification, before pestering them with questions. Regarding this weeks Homestead tourney, I'm sitting at -8 after a disappointing first round. Couldn't get approach shots close enough on many holes, forcing me to scramble for pars.

Victory Road hasn't officially finished yet so I'm guessing you'll get auto-entered into web in time for entering scores on Monday if you'll finish top 5.

JD, I've seen you putt plenty from range so shouldn't be an issue not being outrageously close on approach! You've certainly given me a chance to finish ahead of you for one round! All the best for the remaining rounds

Good luck to you as well!

It is now an auto exemption but because this week's tournament already started it will be for the following week. That part hasn't changed..

Oh so you play one last tournament before using your exemption? Got it.

I guess I should've windwaited on this tourney, and waited for strong winds lol. Shot my lowest round in the highest wind, finished up at -38 again this week. This is a tough course if you get out of position, but someone should break -40 this week on CC-A.

Well i was greeted with 8-16Mph winds for my first 2 rounds and had smile on my face, what a challenge lets have a crack I usually try both methods to deal with the wind, when I use the loft to adjust and have to dam make sure i hit it straight or the 2nd method i use d-pad with 1 click per every 2Mph- this works well then the cone dont change and easier to hit it straight and deal with the wind
I dont think the wind fix has been applied to this week, so wonder how many will wait for calm conditions
Anyway round 1 =68, round 2 =65
Keep you head down and follow through- Good Luck
