Hi all.
I bought the pga tour 2k21 game today for ps4. I did play the TGC2 for a bit but not much.
I changed out some clubs, did the swing calibration ... Did the Q-School .... not bad. -2 but messed up on the last hole and went up to E. BuT ... I qualified. I have on PRO settings and difficulty.
Than I signed in on TGCTour Challenge society ....... registered and went for a round. Ooooops. O man it was hard and difficult. I have 2 big problems ..... putting power without the bar is VERY hard. And the swing line is very, very small and it looks like the blue line is going everywhere. The difference with PRO is very high so I think I have to do more practise on PRO before I can think about q ( I was +23 on first 18 holes lol). On the Pro setting I could use the suggested clubs .... make a few small changes for wind and stuff .... but now I have a par3 where I fully overshoot the green ...... So ..... I will try again in a few days after some more practise .... And see if I can find info what the big differences are ... because it was very, very hard.

The Beer League plays on Pro settings, if you find that more enjoyable at this time. Good luck and welcome!

Hi all, name's Allan. Been playing golf IRL for nearly 30 years and various digital/paper golf games for pretty much as long. Didn't play any of the previous TGC games, but picked up PGA2K21 for PS4 earlier this year. I played in a society set to pro-am for a while (still in it, but haven't been active) and after seeing YouTube videos and such found out about TGC Tours and began playing on Master difficulty with TGC Tours settings to see what I thought.
Since I liked the additional challenge, I joined up and did the qualifying event last week (Bushwood Open at Scarlet Dunes). Rounds 1 and 2 were about what I expected (-1 & -3) and then somehow in rounds 3 and 4 I caught fire (-11 & -12) for a tourney total -27. That qualified me into CC-B which is cool, but I'm not sure I belong quite yet... read on.
I definitely struggled a bit at Pinedale Trails so far this week in rounds 1 and 2 (-6 & -2) for a total -8. Round 2 was a mess with a missed putt from something like 3 feet somewhere out there and a bogey on 18 to punctuate it. I'm currently sitting barely on the top of the cut line, but suspect by the end of the day will be pushed out. We shall see. Take care.

Hey everyone! I’m Brandon, this is my first golf game since the Masters Edition on Xbox 360. I’m progressing well but still haven’t shot a round under par on tour settings. I have a few more weeks to try to “Monday” qualify, and I’m pretty confident I can get it done. If not, you’ll see me at the next Q school.

Hello fellow golfers! I'm Fredrik, 28 years old from Sweden and I'm super excited to have found my way here!
I've been a fan of the game of golf since 2018 when I got introduced to the game of golf by a colleague. Since starting to play golf, I've also started to watch the pga tour weekend events on TV. Like this was not enough, I also had to buy PGA tour 2k21 when it was released on Steam.
I've played career mode in Pro mode a couple of times and managed to win the FedEx Cup at least once. Since I enjoy playing competitively vs other people, TGC Tours is just what I was looking for.
After scoring +18 on my first Beer league event and +35 in the Qualifying event, I have a long way to go and I will try to focus on the Beer League at first before giving the CC a shot.
My first priority will be to improve my putting game as well as my short game.. I seem to do a lot of 3-puts and short game distance control has not been great.. Time to practice!
See you all on the course!

I’m Anthony. I’m 37 years old from Atlanta Georgia. Been playing golf since Mario Golf on the NES all the way up through the Tiger Woods series and now. An interesting fact about me is I’m the oldest survivor with a rare genetic disorder in history. I’m confined to a wheelchair with many restrictions in muscle function and mobility, but I manage holding a controller decently. The biggest setback I have is I can’t see my hands when I’m swinging (my arms won’t go up high enough and my neck is fused to my spine), so it’s all by feel.
Up until a month ago I was only a Pro-Am/Pro player. The adjustment to master swing has been daunting to say the least. But, I’m gonna stick with it and hopefully I pick up a thing or two from some veterans and make some new friends along the way!

Greetings all, I'm Eric, 52 years old from Pittsburgh, PA. I enjoy playing video golf and have played a ton of different games through the years but haven't put any serious time on the virtual links since, well, Links in the early 2000's. While I like playing the game, I actually bought the game for the designer. I have been playing golf for 40 years and I think I have been sketching golf courses longer than I have played so the designer is my newest obsession (think I spend more time on it now than I did on the golf course in years past).
I expect you'll see me in the Designer forum mostly as I start to try to get some courses published! Hope to see you all around and looking forward to chatting with you all!

Hi all, casual golfer here, looking to get involved in some friendly competitions inside of societies. word around google was this is the best place, using created courses replicating real courses not included in the base game. looks like there a lot ot learn so ill settle in and get to know you, and work on improving my skills so i dont need so many assists in game, swing plane is where i struggle most. anyway, good to meet you
