Just finished June Q-School and waiting for Tour Card (looks like I'll be on CC-C going by my Q-School result). Found out about TGC Tours just before the Challenge Circuit went live so familiar with the transition. AND WHAT A TRANSITION IT HAS BEEN!!!
Absolute kudos to the team that run TGC Tours. You really should give each other a pat on the back, in fact why not go the whole nine yards and snog each others faces off!!! Tell me how many other non-funded sites would go to the length these chaps do. If I could give out MBE's, CBE's OBE's or more so Knighthoods to these guys I would (not sure if any of you are even British so hope you know what I'm talking about).
Seriously though, well done team. You're onto a winner with TGC Tours.
Here's to the future.....

Also curious about the money standings/rankings. For those who were in Web B and promoted to Web tour. We have lost all of our money list standings? Also whatever points we would have for the challenge series are meaningless now?
So we are left with what little money our exemptions to Web-A earned to rank us in the money list for the Web tour finals? ouch...

I've taken it as if you played Web-A you earned money on the Web money list, but if you played Web-B and lower you earned points on the challenge circuit. Sucks for those that have played on both Web-A and Web-B as we're not high on either list. Ah well, just means I've already got a bit of money behind me if I manage to get back to Web.com.

Hi..I'm really enjoying the tgctours and playing tournaments, however I don't think players from the higher tours should be able to drop down and play in lower tours. What chance has a champions tour player got of shooting -55 under par?

What chance has a champions tour player got of shooting -55 under par? No one is allowed to drop down and play in a lower tour. Only people who are demoted will be moved down and the only people being demoted are those that deserve to move down.

Honestly it's going to take a month or two before everyone settles in nicely where they should be division wise. From reading how to move up/down in the CC leagues it seems very easy if you play well consistently then you will be moved up every few weeks.

just wanted to add my thanks to the team for everything they do Im in CC-D and looking forward to attempting to move up. I like the new system on the the challenge tour as its much simpler and no money lists means you can move up (or down easily). The system seems much more dynamic on a weekly basis increasing the interest and challenge to keep playing Objective: get promoted and avoid demotion Promotion: 1st week get within 10 of the winner of division to get an exemption above nice and simple... like it... Then the following week in the higher flight Finish in the top 70 AND Be one of the top 3 exemption players OR Finish within 10 shots of the top exemption player One thing that isnt clear whilst on an exemtion in a higher flight can you earn a demotion strike for finishing outside of the top 70? my thoughts would be no... but i cant find a clarification on the Rules/Policies page Demotion: Just stay in the top 70 (easier said than done) Outside the Top 70 you get a strike (im hoping a record of this will be shown on your profile? maybe in the overview boxes?) Get three strikes and you are down Get into the top 30 to clear your strikes YAY! One question... What is the penalty for not submitting a score... i can see a situation where some players may score high end up at the bottom of the table then NR a card to avoid a strike? (NOTE i am not saying i would do this... ive posted some pretty bad scores ) Tez Tez

Tez,
Great point here: "One thing that isnt clear whilst on an exemtion in a higher flight can you earn a demotion strike for finishing outside of the top 70? my thoughts would be no... but i cant find a clarification on the Rules/Policies page"
I'm going to take a look at that now and make sure you do not get a strike I'll finishing outside the top 70 on a demotion. Thanks for the heads up and asking this question.

Tez, Yes the code was correct. You will NOT earn a demotion strike if you are playing on an exemption and finish outside the top 70.
Thanks! Tim

Do 2 rounds need to be submitted by Friday still? Or could I submit all 4 rounds on Friday/Saturday?

I'm pretty sure that you can submit all of your rounds at anytime before the final deadline. Normally by Friday people who had not submitted any rounds would have a WD, that's not happened this week. I assume you're talking about the challenge circuit.

I assume you're talking about the challenge circuit. Yeah that's why I asked, as I didn't see WD next to those yet to submit a score. Should've mentioned I'm on CC-A, which might have different rules to PGA and Web tours
