This is where is fell in love with baseball stars and tecmo bowl two of the best sports video games ever. I'd still play it today if I could.. Baseball stars was the best baseball game ever .., You should take a look at super mega baseball ..it's pretty darn good ... Best game since baseball stars

I am 63. My first virtual golf was played on the NES but I don't remember the exact name of it. Then there was one on the SNES, but my favorite was the Links series on PC. I must have 50 cd's of addon course for that. I have just started with TGC, 1st on XBONE, but I have since switched to PC.

Grey Haired gamer at 50. Been playing video games since the Coleco Telstar game in 1976. I just knew if I could hit that pong ball just right I could put some spin on that ball.

No haired gamer at 39. Started with golf back on the C64 - Leaderboard and World Class Leader Board, I also remember a great golf game on the Archamedies which we used to play at school at lunch time. I played links, Jack Nichalous on PC, PGA Tour golf 97(I think)on the SNES was a favourite for a long time and the Tiger Woods games have been okay although all to similar. I feel like i've finally found my replacement for PGA tour golf 97 with TGC. Obviously TGC Tours have given it so much more. I think without it I'd be craving a good one player seasons mode right now.

55 here.... my first video game was an abacus Actually, the very first video game i ever played - and I use the term video loosely - was on an some huge IBM beast machine that a friend of my brother's owned. The game was all text, no graphics, that had you make choices throughout the storyline. I remember playing a game years later called Amnesia that was of the same logic-based, text gaming genre. Talk about using the ol' noggin with those games.

I am 30 years young.
First golf game I played was World Class Leader Board via DOS on my grans windows 3.1 system. Don't recall what my first actual game I played was. Most likely some game in the arcades. First system was a Mega Drive though. I remember my friends still having amiga's and amstrad's before they moved onto NES and Master Systems. Didn't have the same console v console bull back in those days lol

55 here. My 1st experience playing a computer game was in high school when we were able to access the local university main frame via a phone in a cradle and a printer and we played a dot printer version of Star Trek. I bought the early Commodore 64 systems along with Atari and then moved into the Apple 2C. As an Apple fan, these were shunned by game programmers, so we had very few decent games. Dark Castle was a favorite when the 1st MacIntosh computers game out. When Links golf came out I played a lot of late nights working up and down the ladders playing 9 hole challenge matches. I really enjoyed the live drama of head to head competition also played many for ball matches. The Golf Club certainly matches and surpasses Links in many ways and the vast database of courses designed by the public is the true gem of the game. After 400 rounds I'm still missing breaking putts to the low side, but I am getting better. I think as many flaws as the game has it is by far the most played game I've ever played and the for the price compared to most other games is a ridiculous bargain. I'm also love to play Destiny and can be found traveling the solar system a few nights a week.

Well. ..two people older than I, one being only by a few months. .. but I'm retired. . . While I sit at work watching the US Open.
Best thing about being retired is I can quit when it starts feeling like work.
