We will be going down the wire....incredible runs by both teams to get to this point. Saturday May25th at 3pmEST / 9pmGMT - Demonondalinks TwitchDemonondalinks needs a half point for the USA win. Smijti needs the full point for the European repeat. This is pretty extraordinary stuff. Expect to see a full house from both teams in chat. Looks like a 6 am Sunday morning for me π΄.

Hi π . Even though I haven't played in this event real life issues preventing me from having a go at the beginning, just like to say it's been fantastic fun on sidelines watching you boys play, some awesome golf played by both teams , close matches . Last night's matches were pretty tense and even I was nervous watching from the sidelines . I tried so hard to keep my eyes open for the Mark & Griff showdown but my eyes failed me on the 3rd hole so woke up this morning to catch the vod but unfortunately it was taken down(Why ππ€£). Was gutted I couldn't watch the famous Horusphoenix do his thing for the Europeans and show of his class on this game ( pay us later Mark ) π€£π€ͺπ. Glad it's coming down to the wire and may the best team triumph, Berty, Markus CAM AN you got this . π Good luck everybody . Apologies, I took the VOD down last night because I was so annoyed/disappointed at how I performed. Having slept on it, though, I decided to republish it ( click here to watch). Enjoy it while it lasts: Twitch automatically deletes the video after a week unless I highlight it, and you can be certain I'm not going to do that for such a dreadful display. Anyway, congrats toΒ horusphoenix on capping a remarkable streak from the Euros to retake the overall lead. He and I had a chat after the game and agreed it was a nervy, substandard game for both of us (more so on my end, of course), but I believe he birdied 5 of 6 on the back nine, which is superb golf given the conditions and circumstances. If I had to lose in that fashion, at least it was to an excellent player and classy guy -- I look forward to more matches in the future. Heck, maybe I can even win one or two, or possibly just make it to hole 16. Cheers to all those involved with this and a big thanks toΒ rhino4life,Β Smijti, and others for taking care of the admin work behind the scenes. I thought I was nervous last week going into the Platinum major, but it was practically nothing compared to how I felt at times yesterday. It's amazing how video game golf can get your heart pounding like that, but it's a testament to the quality of both the players and the friendships in this society. It's a good-natured rivalry, but it sure would be nice to be on the winning side and earn those bragging rights for a year. I can't wait for these last two matches, particularly if the Cup is still hanging in the balance on Saturday. Best of luck to those with golf still to play. Hey Griff π Thanks fella π for shoving the vod back up I appreciate it . I just couldn't keep my eyes open and I look forward to seeing some of these matches at work during my lunch break of coarse π€ . I work on my own housing maintenance and I get lonely sometimes so twitch comes to the rescue to break my day up . I played in the last one and jeez it's nerve wrangling how can a video game do that to people it's so different then playing in society events . It's all down to the final match good luck to both teams , its been a fantastic watch . Perfect timing aswell should be good banter in the chat , hopefully on one stream so everybody's in there together . π

Poor old Smijti, all on his shoulders again! π¬π€£ It's been another fantastic event, we really are good at this. From Dave's organisation to everybody buying in to it. Whatever happens on Saturday it's been a blast. Just a heads up, a bunch of us Euros are likely to have an after party Wreckfest on Saturday whatever the result, should be from around 9:30 UK, 4:30 EST. There will be some spare spaces I'm pretty sure, probably plenty. If any of you Americans would like to join us please do. It was great last year, not many games can indulge up to 16 players for a bit of carnage and a good laugh!

Does twitch automatically record when you stream? I wanted to go back and watch my match, but it was not there....is there a setting that you have to set to record the stream? Just wondering if I can go back and add the vod as Griff talked about above?

It was a pleasure to play agai nst you. Not only are you an absolute machine of a player on this game, but always great company.
Like you said, we had a chat afterwards and both agreed that the nerves had probably got to us a little (it certainly took me a while to settle into things) I had half anticipated a bit of a nervy game, and it was always going to be difficult for us to match the quality of the Chalkey vs Wobe match. The tension I felt in this match is by far the most I have ever experienced on this game, and that's a testament to you as my opponent and this event as a whole.
Anyway, Iβm looking forward to many more chances down the line to face up against each other and no doubt when you bring your usual game, youβll be getting some revenge on me. Not much else to add that Griffin hasn't already summed up perfectly in his message. But, it has been an incredible Ryder Cup that could not have had a more fitting end. I donβt think anyone could have written a better script for it. A big thanks to Dave & Markus for running things and putting in all the effort into making this event a success. Whatever happens tomorrow, itβs been a great battle by both teams. Best of luck to Markus & Todd, it should be a brilliant match to decide the Cup.

Just wondering if I can go back and add the vod as Griff talked about above? I think by default twitch doesn't automatically save your streams. I remember when I first streamed, I had to tick a box in the settings to ensure that the vods are saved. This link might help you with it: help.twitch.tv/s/article/video-on-demand?language=en_US#:~:text=Frequently%20Asked%20Questions-,Enabling%20VOD%20Storage,to%20enable%20or%20disable%20archiving. I'm not entirely sure they'll be an option to add your vod back after you've already streamed, I don't think you'll be able to, but i'm not sure. Certainly worth changing that setting for future matches you play though].

Just wondering if I can go back and add the vod as Griff talked about above? You have to manually enable VOD storage to record your streams. The link Mark posted should help walk you through that, and all your future broadcasts will then be saved for at least a week. A VOD will expire automatically unless you decide to highlight it, which will keep it on your channel indefinitely. I think I have some that are 8 or 9 years old still on my channel. When you want to remove a video from public view, you have two options. You can delete it, which will get rid of it permanently, or you can unpublish it, which essentially hides it from everyone besides you. When I took my VOD down, I decided to unpublish instead of delete, so I was able to restore it. It will still expire and be gone forever (good riddance!) once a week has passed.

One hour to game time. Win or lose Demonondalinks, you've played amazing golf throughout against some extremely tough competition. This has been an unbelievable Ryder Cup. Let's bring it home.

Way to bring it home Jeff and Todd. Two needed, 100% clutch wins the last few days. Everyone on both sides did their best and contributed, even if the wins weren't there. Most importantly though, the camaraderie and sportsmanship were amazing and it couldn't have been more of a closer outcome than that. Congrats to team USA for bringing the Cup home π

Thanks for reminding me of that Todd π€£. Congratulations to the USA side. All class as usual and a great win. To my European team mates, we gave it our all. That's all we can do. A special mention to our brilliant Captain Sir Marcus π. You were the glue that kept us together for 3 weeks. Until next time. Ole ole ole πͺπΊ

@everyone what a fantastic and fun tournament we all put together. It was nerve wracking since the first session and it couldn't have ended better: down to the final singles match.
Congratulations to the USA team for winning back the cup, well deserved.
It was a roller coaster, always back and forth, we were able to turn things around after 5 wins in a row on Wednesday but you guys won 3 straight matches in the end to win it all.
Thank you Sir Markus for being an outstanding captain, thanks to all my teammates, it was a pleasure to fight alongside all of you, specially my partner Giz who carried me for so many holes (I'll give you some tips for that back pain lol).
Untill the next one. Go Europe πͺπΊππ Ole Ole Ole
