Welcome to Donnybrook Cricket Club!
Based on Hollywood Golf Club, New Jersey and other Walter Travis designs, this is what we scrambled together on the plot scottish67 made. Measuring in at just below 7000 yards, it constantly twists and turns across the property and you'll rarely, if ever, hit two consecutive shots in the same wind direction.
The bunkers and greens are the stars along with the topography itself. The greens especially, moving from unashamedly manufactured to very natural and wild, I think they're a blast to play!
The brief said: - There is a road that dissects the property into two halves. The road can not be moved. Shots can't be played across the road. - The town at the end of the plot must remain. - Holes 9/18 must return to the clubhouse. - No major sculpting moves, think golden age. - Holes must stay within the property limit.

Well, it was designed for medium-fast green speeds so that figures!

Do you happen to know what other courses have been made using the plot that you used?

It'd be wrong. Wicker Club and Heaton Hall are published as well.

Buddy, so proud of this course. Nobody outside our server will know the extent to which you changed ideas, bunkering style, moved holes, tweaked, replanted etc and all the while totally embracing the 'let's try it and see' approach. It's been so cool to see where the course started and where it's ended up. All we really want from Dream Team is guys to collaborate and be open to feedback or changing things. Knocked it out of the park on all fronts. Excited to see what everyone else makes of this one

Really fun course man, the bunkering and grass planting were pure class. Tons of strategy here, but not too penal if you're out of position. Enjoyed seeing so many different takes on the same plot and creative use of the land. That 16-18 closing stretch is awesome and leaves a very memorable finish. Wish you the (second) best of luck in the contest

Hey axelvonfersen , Dream Team is kicking goals this year and another ripper course. The bunkering was a highlight and added to the strategy. Couldn't find the cricket club...
