Dear TST enthusiasts,
This week we travel to Arnie’s place: Bay Hill Club & Lodge. Lovely course and one of 2K/HB’s better attempts at an RCR. Your dilemma this week: try to go long off the tee and have an easier shot into the green but risk the need for swimming trunks, or play it safe but accept long shots into the green or not getting there in two. My advice: go for it!!! 😎😎😎

Probably my favourite course in the game. I’m really bad at the game though…
R1: couldn’t get any momentum and then dropped 3 shots last two holes.
R2: Quad bogey on the second and then a couple of more doubles thrown in for measure. Couldn’t adapt to the slower greens. Kept tonking them by thinking it should be slow but it wasn’t lol.
R3: 16 pars, one bogey and one birdie. Strange round.
R4: Bled bogeys as my short game was hideous. Still can’t get used to chips in this game. My best ones are when my golfer thinks he’s messed up lol.
76/78/72/79 (+17)

1 under 3rd round then I gave up in the 4th due to the silly green speeds .... Stopped using the map and the worm cam and just hit the ball but surprisingly only hit +8 haha

I beat you in round 4! Green speeds are silly this year aren’t they? Is it the default balls? They just roll and roll and roll and roll…! |

Wanna talk inconsistent?
Was -3 thru first 3 holes this week. Was +5 thru the same 3 the next round.
E R1, +9 R2. I genuinely stopped caring after the first few swings in R2 all had a terrible outcome, and 2 on hole 3 found water which broke me beyond repair. No idea how or why my swing went into garbage territory so fast, out of nowhere.
First time I'm seriously considering just not finishing and focus on next week. I don't know how I held back on smacking driver off the pin on 18th of R2.

I finished in the end, since I hate non-finishers (especially when looking at Platinum and how it works up there) and I don't wish to be included in those.
Man, what a way to go out... 6 of both minus and plus variety. First one in R3, second in R4.
Soooo... stuck at +9 after all that. Damn.
