TAN 36: US Open at Pinehurst No. 2Scratch CompetitionSome really good scoring on a tough US Open set up. Palutena wins by 2 strokes from horusphoenix to take the 3rd TAN major of the year. A nice 3rd place by booze2407 just a stroke further back. Low round of the week a fantasic 62 by the champion in round 1.

Not really sure how I found this society, but going to give it a go. Just played 2 practice round on Dutch Open with the correct settings. Eagled 1 and 18 in my first round while missing 23 putts for a +11. Second round had nothing better than par but only 16 missed putts for a +15. It's refreshing feeling satisfied with a par or even saving a bogey. Going to have to learn how to leave myself with full shots for approaches instead of just driving as far as I can. Partial shots are killing me and so are some of the slopy greens. I've never played without vibration so this feels like a similar jump up from true sim that true sim was from CC. Closest I've felt to real golf (which I am terrible at) where it is hard but fun and you take the good shots while flushing the bad ones.

This might be my favorite way to play now. Absolutely exhilarating round. Started birdie birdie. Lost 3 strokes to water then missed a 5 and 6 foot putt. Double bogeyed 15 with the tough pin location. First putt finished 2 feet behind where I started after not quite getting up the hill. Next rolled off the green, then chipped close enough for a tap in. Eagled 18 while sinking a 13ft downhill putt. Finished +5 with 7 or so shots I would like back. Haven't played Legend swing since TST switched back to Masters so I'm very happy with how things turned out. Missed 13 putts in total. I'm sure I'll have some rounds that approach my real life scores, but I'm way more optimistic than I expected to be!

Watch some of the streams especially Hendomedes he's one of the best and explains his shots very well , short game is good noticed how i said good craig not awesome dont wanna praise u up to much ππ. I just say to beginners get your distance putting first , Lagg putting always aim for 2 putts , aim for par . When ball rolls past hole watch it like a hawk . It's the best way to play this game as it's got every sort of out come . Its Dart robot golf on the tours , I find it boring . I love a 40 yard chip to get up and down feels really satisfying. But honestly don't feel you have to turn vibration off we just encourage it for realism. Would be great to see some other big players from the tours give it a go but I think there be lost without there marker πππ

Welcome in natepeterson those scores will drop soon when you adjust (and theyβre good anyway off the bat! I think this is meant to be a tough course, I havenβt played yet) Basically what longpole said thereβs a discord link at the top of this page and I think weβre going to try and arrange some live group play soon. Charles and Hammers run this society really well. I think you get a handicap after four tournaments and appear on the handicap leaderboards from then π

Welcome, this is a great society, well run and really enjoyable, yes it's TAN but it's brought alot of fun into the game for me, always happy to break par, but equally very likely to get a minging scorecard, keeps you on your toes until sinking the very last putt, good luck

Played mine before bed tonight. Not sure itβs even audible as my partner isnβt too well this week and had went to bed early. Didnβt want to wake her up by shouting into the mic lol
Play well folks. Nice course with some really tricky greens and pins. Nice challenge.
