"I don't usually do request numbers, unless of course, I have been asked, to do so."

Here is your review trailducker
(First if you could define the origin and meaning of your online alias, that would be very helpful. I envision you using Guerilla Warfare and emerging from the bushes to "pants" or "Staab" unsuspecting seniors or dog walkers and then giggling and leaving the trail, ducking back into your hiding spot like a silent assassin or a thief in the night.)
So, with such classics such as The Chop Match Club, a wonderful take on Ballyneal and Uinta Meadows, a course I wrongfully predicted to do better in National Treasure but still holds legendary status due to its hilarious "Every Hole At" satirical parody, I feel very slightly embarrassed and ashamed that I have not played a round at this wonderful Kiawah Dye rendition.
(How the heck did you get Mitt Romney of all people to narrate your video? Reminds me of the time I got prank called by this chick using pre-recorded phrases and the voice of Dr. Phil asking very personal and deeply philosophical questions lol.)
Disclaimer #2: I am not a big fan of Kiawah, Dye, retaining walls, most tropical stuff and courses in the general "low-lying" class, if that is even a category. I put Dye's (who is a legend) architectural style and philosophies above Robert Trent Jones and Jack Nicklaus but in no particular order, below Doak, CC, Hanse, Ross, Raynor, MacDonald, McKenzie, Simpson, Colt, Old Tom Morris and at times Devries and Strantz. Personal preference.
With that being said, terrific job on recapturing the architecture, aesthetics and overall feel of Kiawah and Dye. I can't think of many courses off the top of (or from either side of or underneath of) my head that have done a better job than you did here.
With the exception of the bright green water plants do to personal taste and possibly 2K's "cartoonish" representation of said plants. When used in a medley of other lovely grasses along the water, they look fine. When used as the dominant species in a local area or from a distance, not my cup of tee.
You have a talent IMO of creating a nice visual of a shallow body of water, where you can see parts of the bottom inside the body, like you did at Uinta. Keep using this skill and technique, I like it.
I played it from the whites with the prevailing NW wind set to high on pin 2 and shot 4 under with a bogey I believe, playing reasonably well by my standards. Meaning I think you got the difficulty you were looking for. It's not evil hard but its stir the pot with a grin on your face hard. My proximity to hole wasn't great and the green-sites were really nice and challenging offering up some fun and scary putts coming off and down big slopes and tiers and rolls etc.
Game pla for the most part was to hit low drives to fight the wind and attempt to play to areas to set up the smartest approach and you made things interesting and varied and fun off the tee and I really enjoyed the routing and sightlines and the crooked trees.
Don't know how much people care about walking paths and such but I do. Some of the holes it looked like the golfer would have to walk through vast plains of sand or knee high grasses to get to the fairway but this is coming from a guy who would be open to the possibility of turning this franchise into an open world game where you can walk around or drive a golf cart and stop and chat up the NPC cart girl or other patrons. I see the same chick just standing there by herself in every course that has crowds and I worry that she is actually conscious and sentient and incredibly lonely and she needs to smile more because I know she has a nice smile.
P.S. Tell me what you don't understand about my forum/discord posts. Sometimes it is hard to get a point across in this online medium we occupy and things get lost in translation or are taken out of the intended context Tell me how I can be a better poster and thus a better person lol.
