Just to play devil's advocate here, but I would have liked to have seen both sides of the conversation, the back and forth so to speak, for a bit of context. Honestly even giving him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't aware of OP's eyesight issues or whatever, people have preferences on settings they enjoy. Who cares. Yeah push your own preferences and for sure, Christ I'm the worst for that 🤣, but others will have different tastes I do wonder if the big boy would be shunning his pants for nappies with a few aids removed  |

I followed him since he started streaming over 2 years ago on YT. He knew about my eyesight issues since the beginning of 2K23. For quite a while I could not get into a multi-player game with him. Alway saying I would have to play on master settings just to needle me. I made it quite clear I would never play on master difficulty. Eventually he would have the occasional game on open settings for chat to join but what a pain that was. Always making the point that I play on pro-am and that's why I beat him.
It's all good as now I start streaming a few hours earlier. I play rounds with a few friends and have the occasional random player join in for some rounds. I always leave the settings to open and people are free to play the game on whatever setting they choose. I'm all about the love of the game and it's more fun to play with others than by myself.

I'm just making an observation that it's a bit daft to flex on settings when you use a lot of aids yourself, or flex on a game full stop really (in the case of the streamer in the video). Really I'm just trying to highlight the (imo) nonsense of flexing about settings and saying things like 'i always say you should challenge yourself' when playing on fairly gentle settings yourself. |

The thing is nobody was directly having a pop at anyone here that is posting on the forum and it seems that there is defensiveness when none is actually needed. You just spoke your opinion Craig so I don't see any need to apologise and greenlightning was certainly not telling him personally to fork off, though for some reason he thought that . Also each to their own and I know some think 15 under rounds are fun but personally that's not for me. Legend no aids is fun and birdies feel like birdies, I average around par and most importantly it actually feels like a golf simulation to me. I have played analog Legend and now master difficulty feels boring so unfortunately there are just a very select few societies to chose from. Which is a good thing as Starfield is gonna take some of my time going forth. |

Unfortunately, there seems to be a decent amount of toxicity in the streaming community of this game.
I've severely narrowed down who I watch. Still plenty of good ones though, OP - keep supporting those particular streamers.

I think we both strongly concur on the point, that everybody should play the game exactly how they want to play it, without snarky ridicule and derision from anybody, because after all, it is just a game in the end, hopefully enjoyed by everyone who plays it. |

Who you telling to F off? Not you. Everybody can F off unless your all playing legend True sim . 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 only joking fellow Mario golfers . It's a video game there's difficulty settings , so choose and enjoy the game to how you wanna play it . Thing is a game like this there's always gonna be a competitive side and they don't really mix , casual against the competitive golfer . Trouble is aswell some of these so called great players and top players especially on the PS side think there sh%$ don't stink especially this class act the charmer in your video . Lot of them count wind, lie , green beads and rely on some good vibration with the famous marker playing the system so to me there good mathematicians not good video game golfers So I call a LEGEND TOUR , now they got plenty of dollar, they gotta 3 click tour so why not a legend tour . Then we will get to know who the best players are in the game Team xbox rule 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 remember have fun |
