Fantastic LiDAR Courses not listed on TGC Tours

Hello,

Recently I came across a few LiDAR courses by a designer named chris.denomy and was quite impressed with the quality of his courses.  So I went about trying to find others by him, but he doesn't seem to be registered on TGC Tours and none of his courses seem to be in the database.  I did some brute force searching on my Xbox, since you can't search by designer, with "(L)" and scanned through 54 pages to favorite as many of his courses as I could for easy access, and there were A BUNCH!  85 in total, over 39 weeks, who does that!?  Dude is prolific!

So i figured I'd list them for others who might be interested in quality real life courses to play.  He does a great job of not only getting the course details accurate, but the environments are great too.  Most LiDAR course I see focus solely on the terrain, but each of these have a great completed feel, they feel like official courses in many ways.

That being said, the only critiques I can give is that each course is set at the standard 134 green speed, wish each had a more unique pace to help with tournament options.  Also, on the occasional green I've seen some pins on fairly steep slopes, but not very often.  Overall, very impressed with these courses and he seems to be pumping them out weekly, so keep an eye out for more...  And if you're reading this and you are Chris, thanks for the quality courses!

Have seen many of these as well, thanks for listing them all in one place!

Arcadia Bluffs is, IMO, the best work he's done of the ones I've played. But yes, watch out for some wild and crazy pins on these! And fowcO, also be aware that, for some reason, the game is now limiting the number of courses that show up in your favorites. I can only see 6 pages of results now, with two courses on page 7. And when you add a new course, one that's showing up is basically hidden and replaced by that one you just added.

Agreed sroel908, Arcadia is my favorite and the one that I first found of his.  Also, I am not seeing the bug for the Favorites list, I have 13 pages and just saved one and it added to the end.  Wonder what's up with yours, are you on Xbox or another platform?  Maybe it's specific to that if you're not on Xbox.

I'm on PS4. I have limits now on seeing courses on My Favorites, My Played, My Friends Favorites/Played, etc. - I think others on PlayStation have also seen this, so maybe it's just on PS systems, and maybe because it's now "free" on PS Plus this month?

fowcO, thanks for compiling the list. I've played about 20 of Chris's Lidars and although a little raw in parts and not as detailed as some others they are very playable IMO. My personal favs are Arcadia, Paraparaumu, Cruden Bay and Royal Porthcawl.

The courses are OK, as a designer myself I’d rather see 20 of those courses done very well rather than 85 that are a little ragged in the presentation. Quality over quantity for me

Gone a bit left field… doing a fantasy course for the meme team comp, wasn’t allowed to do the rookie comp because of my RCRs. Should be publishing it in next two weeks - you guys will have to go easy on me as I’m a fictional course Virgin 🤣

Then I really should try and finish Swinley, Hankley and Huntercombe when the cricket season finishes over here!

It’s a fictional heathland course, obviously!
