Dear TST enthusiasts,
We return to the USA and slowly but surely prepare for the FedEx playoffs. This week, we play the HB official version of TPC Twin Cities, which is a decent recreation of the course played IRL. After last week, I’m sure some of you will enjoy the opportunity to go for the pins and score well.

Not a bad rcr at all this from HB.
Starring to get a *little bit* of form back with a -27. I do feel like my deal with the devil expired on 21 as my putting within ten feet is just atrocious now.
Hoping to get sharp for next season. A lot of you guys have stepped it up to another level.

I have no idea how to feel about that tournament. just a total roller coaster with an epic meltdown at the end
R1 -5
R2 -2
R3 -11
R4 +2
Tot -16 (-20 on the website)
Round 1 was pretty ho-hum with 10 missed putts. R2 had 14 missed putts after completely losing my timing on pitch shots. was almost on full tilt by the end. R3 was pretty incredible, only 6 missed putts and a couple more that lipped out.
R4 was bizarre. I, again, missed 14 putts. Hit the pin on 2 on a 6 ft putt and it popped out turning 1 birdie into a par. I thought I had a very slow off the tee on 7 that registered as a very fast and splashed for my first water shot of the tourney costing me 2 strokes and an eventual double bogey. I didn't learn my lesson with the pin and bounced a another putt off of it for a bogey on 17. Then I got to 18. I thought I hit a very fast drive to avoid the rough to the right but it registered very slow. I was almost in range for my 3 iron to hit the green with the tail wind but opted to aim off to the left for a safer approach. My backswing glitched and instead of stopping my swing, I slammed my stick forward and to the right really slowly to get a second consecutive water ball. I finally got on the green on my 6th stroke but needed a 60ft put for double bogey. It was 1 ft downhill but I misjudged where the drop was and left my self with a 20 ft putt still 1 ft down hill. Lipped my third and finally sunk my 4th putt for a 10 to put me 2 over for the round. 6 strokes lost to Poseidon, 2 to the pin, and another on a 4 putt kept this from being my best TST tournament ever.
I really struggled reading the greens in the even rounds. Putts where it looked like there was a sure break at my feet and at the cup went dead straight, putts that looked dead straight broke and rolled forever past the cup. I'd probably feel a lot better with the tourney if my catastrophic 72nd hole was spread over the other 71 holes.
On a side note, it looks like TGC is counting this as a Par-72 course while the game is counting it as a Par-71.

Did anyone else notice that HB/2K official holes are full of hamsters that spit out balls??

Okay all, need your assistance advice/input: Unfortunately, we (Matt and yours truly) have lost contact with Brett (skoader). This means we are unable to give you flight standings and FedEx standings. So, two questions: (1) Does anyone of you know how to get a hold of Brett? (2) If we fail to reconnect with Brett, what would you see as the best option for the FedEx playoffs? - Use Money List on TGCTOURS website to establish restricted fields for the playoffs?
- Forget about restricted fields and just give everyone a chance to play?
- Something else?

Haven't played enough to give an opinion on the best solution (although I'm sure whatever you go with will be a good call Frans) Hope all is alright with Skoader though! |

I like his style.
Anyways... a few stutters glitching my swing but that's no excuse.
Fought my way back to under par in round 2.

Not particularly great shooting out there, but some random occurrences of great putting and some close sticks have me at -2, -6 for -8 after 2 rounds. Could be better by a long shot, but also could still be much worse (for how I seem to not know how to putt sometimes, how are my longest putts in both rounds over 25 feet?).
A shame to read that we have a case of MIA going on, as others have said hope he's alright. I have full trust in the decision going forward into the playoffs, I personally think the money list works if we want to have "proper" playoffs since we have no other accurate method to go about it currently (or at least fully up to date anyway). If that's no big concern, then sure open it up for all.

-12 for the week and could have easily been -25 or better. Haven’t been this hot or cold in a while. Made 9 birdies in the final round and only shot 3 under! Missed 3 putts less than 5 feet on the first 2 holes in round 2! And yes one of those was a hamster (gopher?) fransslabak. Hope everything’s alright with skoader and really enjoy the extra work he puts in to the flight summaries. Happy with whatever you decide is best. |
