I will never play this course. And most of Petty's are hot garbage. But with 18 shots into greens in a round, one that requires a different type of shot that you are unsure of or don't ever use, then it might actually be a good hole.
Probably not in this case, but it could be.

Yeah, I mentioned something about max spin - or maybe that was on another hole. Anyway, I don't think one should need to put max spin on a shot to hold a green, but that's one grumpy old man's opinion. Or, and hear me out here. On this Par 5 you could possibly, maybe, lay up. I know, I know, it’s crazy but it might be crazy enough to work. 🤔 |
