She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;

One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,

And on that cheek, and o’er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,

Yesterday, the game destroyed and humiliated me during my first three Platinum rounds.
Today, she tried to kiss and make up in my first two TST rounds…
Round 1: -14
Round 2: -11
However, I’m not falling for that!
Undoubtedly, later this week, when I play my fourth Platinum round and the last two TST rounds, she’ll make me feel like this:
Half broken-hearted
To sever for years,
Pale grew thy cheek and cold,
Colder thy kiss;
Truly that hour foretold
Sorrow to this.
The dew of the morning
Sunk chill on my brow—
It felt like the warning
Of what I feel now.
Thy vows are all broken,
And light is thy fame;
I hear thy name spoken,
And share in its shame.

So since this week is supposed to be poetry hour... ahem.
The Struggles Of A Decent TST'er, original poetry by yours truly:
Off I go into Trinity Forest,
name such as that seems alluring.
Could be misleading and a dangerous place,
yet a help for my ego's curing.
The start of my week this time around, a rollercoaster of wild rides.
Birdie on 1 with sickening putt for eag, so much break to the sides.
Bogey on two, birdie on three. Please stop this madness.
If this is the way the round goes, it's gonna be so much sadness.
I come around through the round, nothing spectacular to report.
Almost makes one wonder whether this week is going into abort.
The finish to round 1 made it feel that much worse,
a good round it was, until my game felt a curse.
A par here, a par there. 4 in a row to finish.
Felt like should be better, yet that thought has been diminished.
For expectations of mine are long gone, now it's just play the game.
Minus eight for round 1 seems fine, round 2 next for some gains.
An eagle to start round 2, almost an alby. What a glorious sight!
This round should prepare to face my might!
A shame for me then, for that's the best the round got,
never really found a way to get back into being hot.
Conditions and tees surely gave a chance, they were not very tough.
And surely should have done better, did not find much sand or rough.
Yet for some reason, another minus 8 for round two.
-16 at half, hopefully the weekend will not push these rounds into undo.

Final round and another 4 under... Thanks for the video, I hope you all enjoyed the course. Not your best round here my friend thanks to the "Bloody Slows" as you called them. Man that driver has a very distinctive "Crack" sound when you flush hit it, it's different from the other woods. Thanks again you all for using Trinity Forest, you all got it a handicap rating! |
