I wasn't expecting you to have such a monster 4th round.

I imploded on the Ultra Sim Tour this week shooting 14 over par so you got that one too.

Well those last 2 rounds were certainly a... train wreck, for me at least but still ended with a better score than going into those, sooo... yeah. So much awful putting, yet at the same time could hit a random long one to end with about 20% from long this week. Although... 67% for mediums... so -1 x 2 weekend for -14 total. The power of 1 round that I'm still baffled by sees me sitting at my first top 25 in a major event in my TST career. Funny how that works having combined for a lowly -4 in the 3 other rounds.

I maaaay have enjoyed one particular hole more than others this week en route to a 5 eagle haul that might be my quota filled for those for the next... 2 months? Personal record I think in the TST sphere for eagles and total score for 1 hole, can't recall ever being -6 on a hole for 4 rounds. If I could figure out how I did that and then start applying that similar scoring touch to some other holes, I could be something truly great!

After my 73 and disaster 79, I got it back together some and started making in roads with the course, and she was a bit more forgiving so I had a ho-hum 74 (+2), 2 birdies, 4 bogeys but no catastrophes.

I then took Frans advice and wrote a loving love letter to her, and she was very pleased. She kissed me for birdies on 1 and 2, just 2 inches short for a 3rd straight on 3, got caught behind the left bunker on Flowering Crabby, evened out until I got birdie on the par-5 8th after a flop shot from right of the green. A man in the corner got me on 11 with a poor bunker for my 2nd bogey.

Cruised the rest of the way with all pars except for 15 - always the scariest par-5 I play on any course, I hit a partial 5 wood from 240 and landed about 29ft left of the flag. Holed in for my only eagle of the tourney. 3 more pars wrapped up a 69 (-3) - a miracle after so many poor approach shots.

I think my timing with irons had been off for 3 rounds but I finally improved. Putting and driving I was solid throughout. Very satisfying conclusion - a lot of fun - 73-79-74-69 (+7)

No need to apologize, skoader.   I just didn't know if it auto updated or had to be manually updated or whatnot.   My schedule is so busy right now (12 or 13 days out of every 14 through June) that I pretty much skip a week or two then try to play a week to remain active.   I thought maybe my rds hadn't counted and I needed to play this week to make sure I didn't risk being marked inactive.  Thx!
