I think 2k25 will be a slight… “slight” upgrade from 2k23. Maybe some better lighting effects.. aka ray tracing. But I wouldn’t expect a whole new engine. Too many user deigned courses would be eliminated with a new engine.
Don’t expect a lot and you won’t be disappointed is usually a the 2k motto for their games

It won't happen, but the dream would be for 2k to add filters for TGC approved/tour worthy courses in game.

Integrate TGC TOURS as its own competitive mode.
Online ranked using TGC difficulty settings.
Stand alone match play tourneys that start when the player pool fills up.
Tourneys could be predetermined for pro tours or CC specific.
Quarterly or Bi-annual Ryder Cup matches with team selection based on the rankings from that quarter or 6 month season, (Ryder cup for each pro tour and one or two for all combined CC’s.)
Monthly Majors qualifying and pre requisites.
Not TGC Related, but I can see how an NBA2k mycity type “Country Club” could be the next step for user interaction. Quick skill games, putting green, long drive contest, pitch n putt vs, 4v4 stableford

Personally, I want the game to work.
I also read the Steam discussion groups as for some stupid reason, HB studios won't reset some accounts that were banned years ago. That discussion group never has anything but complaints.

A caddy tier system within single player tour, where you can "hire". "fire", and earn offers from caddies...low tier caddies, at times, give poor advice, read putts wrong, and have a course book that is less detailed. A higher tier caddy gives much better advice and their course book is filled with details and advice (favor left side of fairway with certain pins). Make the caddy more interactive...you push a button to ask a question/advice, etc.

While I've come to appreciate the game more now that I have been playing it again, the spin on the ball is huge for me. I feel like the spin is very minimal when landing on the greens.
The two big things I want to see is better spin and getting out of the rough more doable. Not thick rough, I'm talking about just off the fairway.

I wish upon a star at night that 2K25 has a big overhaul and upgrade. Taken some small steps forwards in 2K23 but big strides backwards IMO. Need to reverse that.

I know this is a wish list, but I've learned over my many decades of gaming to ALWAYS keep your expectations in check. I really think it's fun to "dream" about what the new game will have, but I think there will only be some small graphical and texture changes. Hopefully they'll fix the look of the waterfalls...LOL...Let's hope for more designing goodies for our designers, let's make the career better and FUN. I think that will be about it. I know we have some guys on here that are in the know with game and have some inside knowledge, albeit very little, but I'll keep my expectations low and hope for the best  |

Tempered expectation is always best !! I'm hoping the bugs that our gun designers have been afflicted with disappear so that some who have notably gone missing can start to design again. Without them the game would be nowhere near as enjoyable. |

I would love for 2k/hb to get this current game working better. For the most part I like it and have not had any society issues as some have. I have seen a LB with two different scores for one player. Things like that need to be righted. Keep adding small things to the game. If it takes 3 or 4 more years to make a far superior product I would like to see that happen.

I think the silent majority enjoy this game. Either that or we're a bunch of masochists! Personally I think every version has improved on the previous one in some way. This is a really good golf game, for me the best I have played and way better than that EA one. But what taints it is the stupid sh%$ that doesn't work. In some cases stuff they'd already fixed and then broke again, leaderboards!! And things they inexplicably took away like course roaming, flyovers, being able to design your own clothes, etc. I'm more than happy to have another slight upgrade to the overall game, my wishlist solely consists of the game working like it's supposed to. The game is already great, the attention to detail is shocking.
