It would then open up being able to use marker and bring back green sweeping with the marker for elevation info around the greens Neil ,which would not be good for TST. It is really annoying that you can't pick no marker even with the settings set to marker only especially because you could in TGC 2019. oh yeah totally forgot about that Paul, yeah don't set it to open 🤣🤣🤣🤣 it's just frustrating playing sim with that stupid marker. Could be me just having a bad rd . Onwards . Thank you . I would agree, the marker is annoying. Let’s be done with it once and for all…. Who’s with me? 😬 |

Last week Torrey was mean to me.
This week Poppy pretended to be nice and then was just horrible. I'm not looking forward to spending the rest of the week with Poppy....
Enjoyed the course. -1 after 10. Then dropped 6 shots in 4 holes.
Got some work to do.....

I normally share my TST musings in Discord, but since meyo beat me to second in Hogan last week at Torrey Hell, I thought I’d pop in to let him know I don’t intend to be quite so wasteful on the greens this week… (spoiler: but I will) Nice to see you around these parts. I just had an ace in my first practice round at Poppy but these greens are mean if you hit the wrong spot. Plenty of red to catch your ball and roll it over to the other side. Good Luck out there. Love this course and played really well. Just burnt too many edges. A couple of iggles (is this what we're calling them now Art Art Vandelay) really helped. Managed it both rounds on 18. Could have been anything, but very happy with -4 and -6 for the first 2 rounds. Leave things as they are Frans. Play Neil's longpole Sanctuary if you want no markers. It's a great Society as well. Will rest and think about the next 2 rounds 🤔 🤞 |

Not going to lie, as after seeing a vid of a ps5 player manipulating there swing via settings available through the actual controller my level of enthusiasm to play this game at all went straight to zero, probably why i scored so badly, etc etc etc.
Think i finished -3, -4 something like that, thats how much i was/am actually interested in this game right now.
Did have this fluke in rd 1

Did have this fluke in rd 1 I'm sorry to hear this because players have been manipulating game settings since I can remember. We shouldn't let what others are doing affect our experience. Wild Variance ranges from PC to PS4 to PS5 over to the impossible Xbox. Everyone says the PS5 is 3x easier to play this game compared to PC. I don't care. PC4LIFE for me. Of course it doesn't matter what you do. Nobody is going to beat Lindsey, Skud, Kara or Sloaner anyways. |

I love the roller coaster ride of this game. I drained some long putts to make a nice birdie run starting with hole 9 thru 15. And of course, I screwed up on 16 with a nice back and forth 4 putt to double bogey and ruin my fun. Hit the green on 18, but just a bit short, so the putt rolled back 50 feet and off the green. I shorted the chip and missed the birdie putt. Lucky to curve it in for par with a dangerous 5 footer down the hill. Better compared to last week's start which was +5. I'll have to be happy with -3 for the opening. Cheers to all of you who are about to tee off! (Very nice shooting, in round one, to Art Vandelay as I was chasing you around the fairways.)  |
