For those that haven't already heard about it, King Collins have made a proposal to Pinehurst for another course (I believe it's been turned down?) but unlike anything else, they want to turn one plot of land in to five courses, rotating the routing through the week! I thought it was a super cool idea whether it happens or not. I found a great write up that has overviews as well as some awesome 3D flyovers - well worth a look! www.google.com/amp/s/beyondthecontour.com/opinion-exploring-king-collins-proposal-for-pinehurst-resort/amp/

I actually worked on a broadly similar project for VctryLn’s backyard contest last year, combining two different tee sets with four pin positions to create a slightly different set of routings. Obviously the game has some limitations in not being able to change par across the different routings because it was one publish, but I think there’s some mileage in the idea.
That being said, this routing looks like an absolute mess with crossovers and going up to par 74? Three consecutive par 5s at points? I feel like there would be much better ways to do this and make it more playable and cohesive.

I've put together a plot of similar style that may or may not come together but it's been really fun picking out the 4 routings I have so far. I love the idea of say an alternate Augusta routing and we've already seen the reverse loop at St Andrews in this game. With a bit of head scratching, why couldn't a golf course like this have a short par 68, a par 73 with a tonne of long 4s and a 666 loop that all play well. What an awesome thing to be a member of you know?! There's a tonne of reasons why this won't work but with a lot of head scratching, the ultimate playground could be such a cool experience

An ambitious project that would probably only see the light of day in a virtual golf game. I mapped out all 5 courses and it's a mess alright, but might be a good challenge...

Do we know if there is LiDAR data for that plot of land? That could be a lot of fun

Fair, but you could at least have a starting point to play with, even if it's not "Accurate"

Also the poor greens keepers woul go crazy. I know the guys at The Loop have a specific system to keep the holes straight regardless off the routing but this would be 1000x harder

Somewhat similar concept, far less courses. Dakota Winds North Dakota has 27 holes with a reversible routing. You can see the routing changes on these two course maps. Fun place to play, IRL.
