Round 3: -7 Round 4: -4 Total: -19 Frustration level after round 4: 100 Did I, by any chance, maybe just informally, already mention how much I hate low wind rounds. How I despise them. Loathe them. How I, if Iβm completely honest, would like to just blow up every low wind round and replace them with very high winds? I cannot understand how anyone would prefer low wind over high wind. Just drives me crazy. But for the record: not a fanβ¦ πππ Only schedule them for you lot, so better show some gratitude! You're the best Frans

Not enough wind in the final 2 rounds led to a limp finish. Solid (for me) 3rd round of 3 under was ruined in the virtually windless final round where I started double humph, humph and never recovered.
5 under for the week but a thoroughly enjoyable 5 under I might add on I course I absolutely loved.

I'll be honest I'm pretty disappointed with 5 under because I made some silly errors and had quite a few putts where I insisted there was a break when there wasn't!! The new controller has made a difference. Feels so much more comfortable in the hand and seems to suit my style where I like to proper push through my shots. I've also learned how not to overswing!! Took me all of 2K21 and about 3 months of 2K23!!

I even got caught in a blizzard at Cradle Mountain! Are there any Tasmania RCRs in the game?

There are a few others set in Tassie, apparently, but this is the only RCR.

Finished at 8 under. Had a 6 foot putt on the 72nd hole to shoot under par in all 4 rounds for the first time ever, missed it. Still very happy with this. Great course choice Frans ππΌ.

Been away a few weeks but what a course to resume on!
toughest set of 3's I've seen and 3 unreachable par 5's under reg meant scoring was tough but bar a sloppy bogey on the last I holed lots of 10-12 footers for par and very happy with a -6

Probably shouldn't have played round 2 tonight, it was my 10th consecutive tournament round as trying to squeeze them in this week. Concentration levels were too depleted for those tough winds and decision making! +5 to sit at -1 halfway

-6 round 1. Fairly happy with that because at one point I was scoring at a clip which could have pushed the top guys a little bit! Did somewhat slip up towards the end but I guess that's what happens sometimes.
-1 in round 2. Yeah, I'm not that great in very high winds and some of these holes were brutal with that in mind. Being under par even with a few bogeys thrown in, gotta be happy with the fight being put up so far.
So -7 at the half... on the right side of the Nicklaus demotion line at this point of the tournament for once? Whaaaaa?
Cheers, good luck!

Finished -5, -7 to wrap up with -19 for the week.
Outside of round 2, happy with consistent scores across the board. My putting didn't seem awfully fantastic and felt like not a lot dropped, but... guess I found a way to drop 28.5% of my long putts. So I obviously feel one thing, while reality is another.
I don't have much of a clue where this will place me in the top flight, but could I possibly dodge another demotion line? My gut feeling says that might be the case... feeling pretty good about my chances of continued survival. And if not, then next week will be a fight to stay up. If I would play like this then I might still last a little longer than expected.
Cheers, good luck!

I sputtered out in round 3 and 4 shooting a combined one over for the two rounds. I expected better in the friendly winds, but I was unable to convert any and all opportunities that I had. Hitting 66% GIR in round 3 and a horrid 50% GIR in round 4 did not help matters. All of that being said this was the first time in 13 True Sim Tournaments that I finished under par shooting 6 under. Not gonna be good enough to win the Hogan Flight this week but hopefully I can squeak by with a Top Five Finish. The course and conditions were perfect Frans! You're the best. Keep the wind coming!! See you in California next week fellas.
