Oooo that 3 click reminds me of another game , many many moons ago ;-) yeh not tried 3 click but defo not for me for exactly that reason I was more or less forced to resort to 3-click because my timing seems to change wildly from course to course on swing stick, depending upon how graphically intense each course is. 3-click seems a lot more stable, but it's a very different way of playing than on WGT (if that's what we're referring to), which kind of surprised me.

Guess I'm off Nigels xmas card list now :-) Wutpa Oh no, that's not true at all Darren. You always were off the list mate. (But so is everyone, I haven't sent a Christmas card in years....) I'm happy to be back in Dirtbags again, and thanks to you all for including me. Apologies in advance for my future missed cuts and dismal results, but at least I have to be grown up and play all 4 rounds now instead of rage quitting and then finding new ways to insult the cat.

it will help swing straighter but prob not tempo
although not sure if you use xbox controller p.s or mouse

Thanks for the tip Danny, but yes, I've tried all sorts of adjustments, configurations and calibrations, both through Steam and in the game settings too. I've tried to turn down some of the graphics settings too, and sometimes it's (mostly) okay for a round, and then I play the next course which has heavy planting and I get aggravating glitching in my timing again. Sometimes my through swing doesn't even register and I get a dead right very slow, resulting in a drive that goes 70 yards into the nearest hell-hole of rough or water. So that's why I started playing 3-click, because it stays the same from round to round. It has it's challenges too, but at least it restores some of the fun in playing 2K23 which has been steadily draining away for me. Now the problem is that because I play 3-click so much I'm extra rusty when I go back to swing stick for the TGCT rounds, on top of the other inconsistencies already experienced. But it is what it is, and being back in Dirtbags will make it more enjoyable again I'm sure.

I started there with an XB1 controller though, but found the PS4 one to be easier to play with.

Your using one of the best controllers on PC to play this game are you playing wired or wireless, I play on series x and have ditched the series x wireless controller because the tempo from it is so variable lots of very fast swings and very slow swings out of nowhere. I suspect these are communication issues between controller and console but I can’t be certain. I’ve now gone to a wired controller much more consistent.

I'm using a wired controller, because the bluetooth on my PC is unreliable. Plus I'm too stingy to regularly replace batteries..... I have a PS5 controller too, and tested it for a day. I like the weight and feel of it, but found myself swinging slow all the time and struggling to adjust. More testing required.

I need to get with our scorekeeper jeseterr Frank to see if we are getting all sorted out. The first season will be sort of a crap shoot, but we will strive to make the closest teams possible. In future seasons, I would like for captains to draft their teams.

Hello Dirtbagers, in a few hours we will start the first week of our beloved game. Scoresheet here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1cTQG9DCZfHPhdXY5aR76Q0cahDfB_k_P/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=105659989644686937117&rtpof=true&sd=trueSeason Schedule: The regular season will run 6 weeks, and each team will play each other twice. And then we will see Scoring:
Round 1: 2v2 combined score head to head stroke play (ex: Team 1 Player 1 scores -3, Team 1 Player 2 scores -4 = Team Score is -7) Round 2: 2v2 better ball stroke play Round 3: Singles stroke play Round 4: Singles match play 2 points awarded for a win, 1 point awarded for a tie, 0 points awarded for a loss Please report your scores in the thread and tag me. Once you let me know you've played, I will add your score to the sheet. For the rounds where we need hole by hole scores, I can get them off the website. For those of you who aren't in CC, I'll need screenshots of your scorecard for Rounds 2 and 4.

Guys I played a couple of practice rounds Chicago golf club. It won’t be easy. The course looks like to be easy course very flat but greens are so tough🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
