Felt like I was swinging quite nicely but scored horrendously! am +4 at the halfway and lining up another double demo from the top flight! First time playing the course, really enjoyed the layout of the course but felt the overall interpretation of the designer in-game left a bit to be desired - did literally none of the off-course detail, IRL there's quite a few houses, forests etc. so without any of that it didn't feel very immersive. In game it's just wide open, unplanted spaces. Also wasn't a massive of the texture choices, that luminous green felt a bit unnatural. That's just a personal preference though not a criticism. I did like some of the rock work around the lakes though and the designer hasn't made any glaring errors in the immediate playing area. Would just like to see some more detail on the overall environment, the best courses in game manage this even though it's time consuming. Just some thoughts for their next design.

+8 round 3. The quicker greens still puzzle me, but we go....
Onward!

Let's stay away from stale handicap jokes. Stevie Wonder is one of the most talented human beings of the last 100 years. He's also one of the nicest guys and willing to laugh about a handicap that is very difficult to live with. Blind people don't live on Earth to be the joke of society. My sincere apologies for any and all offence caused Very gracious of you thanks - I did come on too strong and I'm sorry about that-I know there were no ill intentions. Yes, everyone's all sensitive about everything nowadays-that's true, it's just I think of so many rotten people out there to be made fun of that aren't handicapped. lol

Just found out that about these TST Boards and that I have been in the Torture Flight for a couple weeks now without my knowledge. Makes the game more fun so thanks for doing all this as I am sure you have heard over and over. Anyways, got to practice a bit more now that scores have a new meaning for me. Aced my first hole in True Sim on Round Two this week, on hole 17, but my scores are on a wild roller coaster ride ranging from +15 to -4 per round.

Totally agree about Stevie Wonder, incredibly talented musician. Songs In The Key of life is one great albums of our times. Not a lot of people know that he is also an awesome drummer also.

Yeah he could have been jaded his whole life since a doctor ruined his vision permanently but he often makes his own Stevie blind jokes. He's so cool about it. He also created 3 masterpiece albums almost single-handedly - he plays drums yes, piano, various synths, keytar, bass, harmonica and can produce, along with having an instantly recognizable voice. Many of his hits are just him on every instrument and singing. Saw him a few years ago at MSG and performed the entirety of Songs in the Key of Life - he was probably 65 at the time, played an array of instruments and sang with no issues for 4 hours to close that tour - went from 8:30 pm to 12:30 am past curfew - got fined by New York for breaking the law but he said it was worth it.

Nice quiet first round of 70. Second round was nuts. Regular looking stats 78% FIR, 56% GIR, 27 putts, and a score of 72. But last night after 9 holes I had 2 birdies, FIVE bogeys. Stopped for the night. Came back today for the opposite - 5 birdies and 2 bogeys = 7 birdies, 7 bogeys, 4 pars (1 water ball on the 4th). Little mistakes all kinds all flavors.

Had to fight real hard to start this week, but in it still. Started this week off on a rollercoaster: hole out from bunker splash for birdie, 3 putt bogey, bird. Eagle on 14 from a chip in leads to -7 round 1. Tougher scrambling time in round 2 but pulling off a couple of good saves for -5 with 30 putts for a bit of "what if the inches went a little better?" to sit at -12 through half. Well consistency is still key, hovering around the same area of current position I just can't seem to get any better from. And in it with the Palmer flight too, could be a good, fun fight still to come. Might have to start going all in on this tour soon enough because I'm just shooting myself in the foot on the other side right now... Cheers, and good luck!

Honestly I think all this PC stuff has gone too far. We need to lighten up a bit. There are so many real horrible things happening in the world, a little humour has to be embraced, surely.

Thought I might end up under par this week but unfortunately, the final round ruined that. 7 over 🤬. Too bad holes and the week is gone. Anyway, loved the course and looking forward to next week. Maybe under par 🤔 🤞🤣. Onwards

Well just finished my first two TST rounds and that was fun as hell. I’m addicted! I never even tried a practice round using True Sim settings. Just jumped right in, so my first round was painful while I was learning the ropes. Especially putting. Holy hell, what a challenge that was.
Fell for the trap that hole #10 is on my first round. Hit two in the drink. +13 on my first round, but once I got the hang of it played much better in round 2 with a +4, including 2 eagles on the front 9. Pleasantly happy with +17 for my first two True Sim rounds as I had no practice and putting is 100x harder. Look forward to improving each week. Consider me in for the long haul and I am excited to get into a flight (last flight, obviously). Haven’t had that much fun playing in weeks!
Side question. I noticed on Colby’s Twitch streams that he was reading putts from behind the hole and moving his camera around? I swear I tried everything and the only thing I could do was switch between the four cameras behind the ball. Being able to get different views will really improve my reads. Help!

Thought I’d have a chance at finishing under par after -5 through 2 rounds. However, I shot +8 through round 3 and 4. Finishing +3. Hoping it might be good enough to qualify me for Hogan Flight. Fun and challenging course, those greens were a battle.
