Every patch essentially makes you re-download the whole game. Has been this way in previous games in the series, too. |

Looking at the old twitter it seems at least 3 people can't play career mode since the update on PlayStation it seems.

If you want a career mode go buy EA! 😬 But seriously, their quality control is atrocious. Underneath all this stupid BS is the best golf game I've ever played. If only they could get a team in there to simply sort out all the stupid sh%$ that keeps happening, no one would look at EA ever again. Imagine if that message came up when you tried to play a Society course, then it would kick off! 🤣 |

Hysterical. You just can't make this stuff up. It's not a total loss. Career mode stinks. Oh, career mode is bland, stale, and weak, for sure. But it's one of the main modes of the game, and they didn't think to test it to see if it was good to go before rolling out the patch to everyone? I mean, HB has had plenty of "WTF" moments during this series' run, but this one is pretty high up there in terms of just a lack of care or consideration. A seemingly minor patch that added some updates to ranked matchmaking, as well as re-adding the gold tee boxes that they took out from 2K21 for reasons unknown, completely took away everyone's access to the MyCareer? Sheesh. That's almost Madden levels of quality right there... |
