Same boat for me. Also shot -4 in qualifying. You have to remember that The KEG Farm was a very difficult course, early in the game, people still getting used to the changes from 2K21 and the fact that even the better players have off days and bad rounds. There's also Sandbaggers, but that's a different subject. We have to struggle on. The tours will settle down in a few weeks once promo events have been and gone (So I'm told).

True I myself played the game for about five hours before going into the tour card qualification. And found it very difficult. Especially the short game around the greens. It’s taking me a little while to get back to anything like last year. But it’s coming. I hit over par in round three and didn’t feel I played that badly. And that’s the first time I’ve had an over par round in two years been on the Tgc tour. Keep it Culinary 👨🏻🍳⛳️

Al Barsha - Sands
Playing on XSX. I had a lot of weird swing issues while warming up in the TGCTours practice society. I turned the game off for a bit, went back in and played 2 rds in XB Seniors ft. TGCT50+ Rivals with no major issues. So I decided to back out of societies, go back in and play the first round of the CC event at Al Barsha - Sands. Same issues as before. LOTS of swing issues during the first 10 holes. Backswings would "twitch" and immediately reset or not start at all. Practice backswings would result in a VERY slow return to address, and sometimes I had to cycle through the clubs to get the putter to work - it wouldn't swing at all. Lot of bad swing results too.
Then on hole 11, everything went back to normal like there was never an issue. Again, playing on XSX, so I don't know if that plays into it, but a very frustrating experience nonetheless. 1 rd and done.

4 birds and rest pars. Lots of easy par putts as birds just missed. Not sure I liked those pins, a hell of a lot very similar.

Smooth as could be. So I went ahead and played the remaining rounds in hopes of acquiring more fittings to exchange - already sporting purples and oranges on all clubs, but it's fun to see if I can acquire better ones. Not sure what happened Sunday. Maybe I just caught the servers at a bad time? At any rate, look out below as I continue my climb down the CC abyss ladder. The curious part is, playing Sunday, I felt I played better in the harder societies than CC, even if my scores aren't better. Is what it is. On to next week and Hotel company! +4 CC (disasterous +6 1st rd; rds 2-4 today) -14 Xbox Seniors/TGCT50+ Rivals (2 rds) +8 TST (really struggling reading greens in 23) +12 USE Masters (again, struggle reading greens in 23) +12 Kinetic +11 Elite (thru 3 rds) -6 Platinum (including -3 in 3rd rd )

Looks like I'll miss the cut by a stroke.
Shot a terrible +4 (75) on the 1st round (including 6 bogey's in a row, ouch) Round 2 was better, apart missing an easy putt on the 1st, and poor 2nd on the last to shoot 66 (-5)

Now that the cut line is completely reasonable, easy even, I figured it was a good time for a +12 rage quit halfway through the first round.

-4 and -6. Should at least survive cut and get rid of last weeks demo. 3rd round -5. Thanks to birdies on last 5 holes. Those winds were tough.
