Hello fellow B squad!
Got out there early this week, was pretty excited after shooting a -12 in my practice round but it appears I should have saved that....
Scrapped to -10 at the cut.
I played the last two rounds just in case that makes the cut and improved a bit, -10 in round 3 and a -6 in round 4 to finish -26 if I make the cut.
Good luck to all of you out there, play well!

I have spent more than three years bouncing round CC-A, CC-B and CC-C. Just the three weeks it took to accumulate the six demo marks to get kicked back down from Korn Ferry (as it was, when you had to change from pro to master level) after over-performing in a Promo event. There has been much wailing, gnashing of teeth and wringing of hands recently about ball specifications, skill allocations and club fitting in recent weeks. What has changed with the new game? pretty much, the square root of bugger all.
Overall, I actually quite like this latest iteration of the game. The fact you can fiddle a little bit to match the conditions you face, round to round is better, in that there is no single perfect answer as there has been. I know that eventually something that works most of the time will develop but it will be a challenge until we get there. I see a few familiar names that I have played with or against in various societies and hopefully we can have a bit of banter in this flight.
Pretty much, business as usual for me this week. I caught more lips than a blind dentist, a couple of Bon Jovi (halfway there....) putts on the slow greens in Round One, a few dodgy hooks into rough or bunkers, a couple of sublime approaches and -17 at the halfway point. Never going to win, hopefully it might be around the cut, shouldn't be in demo mark problems unless I blow up in R3 and R4. Mid-table mediocrity for another season.
Good luck to everyone

Good luck to everyone Should be through with -17 although looking at our players list there’s quite a few with top 100 WGR so guess they’ve not cracked the new mechanic yet but once a good player always a good player so expect them to come good and promote quite quickly! I do fear for my -10 which is a shame as had a good weekend! Never wasted though in the grind for VC and fittings! The slight concern was shooting better scores in TST this week than CC-B, should be the other way round!

Hello fellow B's
Pretty happy to land here after Q school, after spending most of last season in CCA. Seems the more skill is needed in the game, the further I fall. Sausage fingers and all that.
Anyway, not sure I will make the cut at 11 under, but have finished all 4 rounds and got the popcorn out now that the patch is live and chipping from bunkers is banned. Proper funny!
Good luck all.

Shot a -9 last night in round 1 and I was on a roll, I should’ve just kept going but I decided to play round two today. Got caught with my pants down not being able to splash out of the bunkers now that chipping is disabled and doubled a couple holes and only shot -1 in round two

Could be a more interesting cut line now, I thought -10 was dead in the water but who knows now!

Everything just seem to click this week for me, and did what I felt I should have done in qualifying last week. Started off -13, -12 to sit -25 Followed it up with -14, and then -8 in my last round to finish -47, currently lying in 1st place. Having worked my way up Kinetic Tour from CCL in 2k21 before I stopped playing as soon as TGC TOURS changed down to pro difficulty, I'm looking forward to what lies ahead, hoping they don't ease the difficulty again

Back to back chip-ins to make it to -7 thru 15 in this weeks tournament. However the splash struck again on hole 17 for a double. Ended -6 after round 1. Had to get used to the green, it was like putting on velcro.

Decided to recalibrate swing for this week, turns out hitting 20 balls on the range is not sufficient adaption time…
Started off with three straight bogies and never really recovered. -12 for another missed cut. The family will not eat again this week!
Good luck all still playing
