Looks like no chipping in bunkers any more which is fantastic. Also consumable balls can be locked out in society settings. This is great news for TST and sim societies 😁 If TST lock consumable balls I am back in, it will be nice for everyone to play the same set up conditions again. No "if" about it, Doyley already said they'd lock out the consumable balls as of week 3. |

New patch? Awesome. May have to give it a boot up for the first time in couple of weeks or so instead of playing 2k21.
Also, if default balls only are the balls we use then I take it very fast greens are out of the equation?
Edit. Nevermind. Game still as laggy as ever.

***update*** The TST Admin Team has decided that we will make a decision on the balls situation some time soon... They have also decided to update you all on that decision when it has been made. Yeah, yeah, default balls it is... But we do insist on you using full iron shots from greenside bunkers!  |

Also just noticed the scores haven’t pulled from my rounds, checked I had 3rd party on plus my scores pulled fine on CC-B, anyone else got this issue? Yes - alerted Scott - hopefully repaired soon. Still not fixed yet, scores not appearing |

Dam it the scoreboard is working again and everyone can see how badly i'm scoring 😂😂.
The more I play,the worst I get 😂.
If i don't improve i might end up with my own flight 😂.

Really tough week for me so far. Pete Dye is being diabolic again to me. This course is so weird and wonderful and even though I stunk up the joint, I had a lot of fun.
Had the default ball. First round I start really slowly with a 7-foot straight putt missed for bogey on 2, 10-foot straight putt missed for bogey on 4, birdied 7 and 8, gave them right back with a 12-foot straight putt missed for 2-bogey. A birdie slump and another double almost did me in early but I recovered and finished with a 75.
Second round opening tee ball into some random bunker on the left way off the fairway but holed a 31-footer for birdie. Kept consistent and eagled 8, kept hitting awesome approaches and capitalized a lot. I was 7 under par with the par 5 18th hole left. I usually do practice swings, I didn't and I hooked it left into the water off the tee. Then I hooked a 3-wood off the tee into the same water. That water is way way left. Finished with a 9 on the hole and a 69.
So even par - if the cut is in effect that par5 9 cost me a chance to continue. Still the rollercoaster ride was enjoyable.

Ever have those moments where things are going so wrong that you just can't help but laugh at it? Well, for the first half of this week I was so aggressively mediocre that I couldn't help but to laugh at how unfortunately unlucky I could get.
-1, E thru 2 rounds for -1, which if I had maybe just an inch better of a sense for putting could be -12 or something like that. Can't believe how many putts are read correctly, yet they just need to have that little bit extra or little bit less... just not one of those days I guess? When your best length for a putt in a round is 5.7 feet (round 1) that's all you really need to look at and see what was the big issue. Kind of a shame because I was starting okay this week, was -3 through first 9 with a nice eagle chip on 8, and then nothing took off after that. Two doubles on 17 so far, one from having constant slows throughout and then having one fast when water is in play... because of course! And the other due to simply being a greedy idiot. Because... well, of course.
Can't possibly go worse when I'm finishing later. Famous last words I bet. Cheers, and good luck!
