Does anyone else besides me not aim at the center of the hole when putting? I aim at the side of the hole and expect the spin of the putt to grab the side of the hole and spin in. If the ball ends up going in the hole through the center of the hole its usually unintentional. Why do I do it this way? Because it never failed in the original Golf Club game and I have never changed it in five years. I have no idea if this was a glitch in the original game also.

I aim straight at the hole if it's a straight putt. Otherwise it could be anywhere from the edge of the hole to 3 or 4 feet or more either side of it depending on the slopes in the greens and the length of the putt.

The only person I’ve seen spin putts is Billy Mayfair. And that was just an optical illusion because IRL even if you have a slice putting stroke, the ball will always start nearest the clubface angle and any side spin instantaneously becomes too spin (roll)
